This is a great tabletop firepit! It sits on our patio table and connects to a full propane tank. I was impressed with the fact you could choose a side or bottom connection. It gives off good heat while looking very cool!! My husband was worried the glass sides would get charred, but they have not. We had a round one from Menards but the igniter would not work. We bought 2 of them and it was the same problem. But this is one is great! Decorative but practical because it still gives off heat. It comes with rocks, but I switched it out with some glass beads. So fun!!

I was hesitant at first about purchasing this product. It turns out it was very easy to assemble roughly 15 minutes. It has four screws one for each leg that go across the bottom and three screws to mount the propane cable bracket. It comes with roughly about 3 lbs of rocks that cover the inside bottom. The glass adds a very nice decor to the product as well. It does let off a lot of heat, I have a patio table with a center hole that we normally use for an umbrella. I used this hole to pass the propane cable through and it worked well. Just be aware that when you purchase it there are two options you can get the cable that runs through the bottom this is good if you have a table with a hole already in it for an umbrella. If not, you can get a side mounted cable that just sits flat on the table and the cable comes out through the side, just be aware. I purchased the cover with it as well and it fits flawlessly. Definitely a good value for the money and it is priced right. I added this to my tall patio heater, my Firebox, and my fire pit. I'm at a point where I don't need any more fire in my yard, however I have no regrets with this purchase as it adds a very nice touch

Very nice, though I thought of giving it 4 stars because the igniter is hard to work. I built this tabletop unit into a faux fireplace and I am running it off twin 3.5lb growler tanks in the hollow bottom. I added some ceramic logs (available on Amazon) for effect. The picture is the finished product and is NOT AI, that's really how it really looks in my garden. Heat output is nice (the fireplace directs the heat outward). Looks great. The glass windshields are good quality (dropped one but it did not break, crack, or chip). For a table, The unit will do what it is supposed to do but you'll need a hole in the table for the gas line. I found having the igniter switch on the face more convenient than the side for my installation, but that may be a deciding factor in which unit you eventually buy.

REMINDER: This unit has the gas connection on the Bottom-Center. Meaning, the unit WILL NOT sit flat on surfaces. The connector and gas hose cannot be moved to the side-only the center. Perfect for tables with a hole for an umbrella. We placed this on our round glass outdoor table that has the cut center hole. Tucked gas tank underneath. Thought it looked a little cheesy until we fired it up. Super cool and was a great solution for our small deck/patio!! Originally bought a "small" fire table unit with tank stored inside-drug it home and it swallowed our space with hardly any room for our chairs. Decided to turn it on and almost set us and our patio on fire when the wind blew the flames. Returned it to box store and found this on Amazon. Gives us option for "Fire" ambiance when we want, & easy to store when not needed!

It’s a pretty piece and works well, provides heat but it can only be used with a table that has a hole and I didn’t realize that so I’m using it at a place other than what u purchased it for.
