It's a great piece, works fine, it was not the proper size for my project (adapter for Android auto on car) but that has nothing to do with the adapter. It charges just great between my Samsung phones, so great trait

I'm using this adapter to connect a SanDisk SSD to an iPad Air so I can "stream" video, and it works like a charm. With this adapter the SSD rests behind the iPad and is out of the way - it doesn't stick out and doesn't require a straight cable that pretty much gets in the way. I can hold the iPad and the SSD as if it wasn't even there. Video "streams" without a hiccup, photos display and transfer smoothly, and I can read files in the iPad Files app just as if they were loaded on the iPad directly. I don't think you'd want to use this adapter with a laptop, but for an iPad or iPhone with a USB-C connection, it's a super handy adapter. It weighs virtually nothing and takes up virtually no space. The only problem I can foresee would be that's so small it'd be easy to lose. Overall, I'd buy this adapter again. 5 Stars!

looks ok but will not work if you use some cover protection. need to remove the phone cover to be able to use it.

Great and did work for power and display through USB c for a portable monitor, but putting the mainboard I was going to use into a case didn't give enough space. Wish seller would put measurements in mm of the gap between the two male USB c connectors. Ripped apart the device and this can be even slimmer for others who need flat etc. Using the CR2032 battery to scale.

This works great with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I use with an external SSD and also a Rode AI-Micro Interface. This is the missing link in trying to put together a compact cool kit.

Works well, but cannot use a thick female cord nor can you use it with a phone case

Was about to send back because i thought it wouldn’t work out with my otterbox defender pro case on 16 pro max. With a little coaxing i managed to get it to fit perfect. Paired it up with a Samsung t7 1 tb which fits perfectly flush with case with no need for magnets. Looks like it’s part of the case. There’s a little rubber part on the sides of this adapter which needs to be slightly smoothed (out ever so slightly). And viola it fits snugly. Little push on case actually a pull in 1 speaker hole to sit the plug in because small area of case hits plug.

Solid built, well designed. Read write speed is fast. Works on laptop and Iphone 17. T5 SSD and Sandisk Extreme SSD sits nicely on the back of the Iphone 17 with a slim phone case. However I will not recommend it if you have a thick phone case.
