Straight From Brazil
When I lived in Brazil, we used this product for a number of different things. It's very sweet, so it's usually served 'with' something and not eaten as it is out of the package. My favorites included Romeu e Julieta, which is a combination of a thin slice of Goibada along with a slice of "queijo fresco".....a cheese kind of like fresh mozzarella. It's delicious! If something more fancy was in order, the combination was baked inside of a pastry shell. I've used puff pastry for this and it comes out fantastic! YUMMY!!!!!!! "Tem um gosto ótimo"!!!!!!

I like it but it is too expensive. I understand the product is imported but in Brazil it would cost $1.00.

Best Guava Paste
This is the only guava paste that has pieces of guava in it. It has a wonderful flavor.

Guava is my joy!
To many it proves as too sweet, but I find that the Guava flavour requires to be stronger for my taste, I grew-up eating fresh Guavas and love the taste.
