Works good. Hard to cheat and a monkey could use it. And at $500 it is a lot cheaper than $20,000 for force plate that correlates between 0.90-0.95 with this timing pad. And it is comparable price to a Vertec, but this is much easier to do sports teams when you have 8 minutes to get 15 kids through vertical jump tests during fitness testing and adds some other training versatility.

The Just Jump System has been a great addition to my assessment process. It's fast and easy to understand.

Solid but room for improvement
Durable and gets the job done. We use at our private facility. The grooves can be rough on the hands for plyo push ups. Would also be cool if the controller was rechargeable instead of battery operated. Would like to see the price come down as well, especially with the emergence of other options.

Expensive product able to measure general progress but fails when looking for accurate results
I've used this product at a training gym and was quite astounded by the high readings I was obtaining versus other vertical jump measurement methods, including a $12 app on my phone which uses the same technology to measure jump height (time in the air). Sure the Just Jump system is easier to use than recording a video on your phone and marking the times of take-off and landing, but charing $600+ for a such a product is a racket. In doing some more research I found a recently published study titled "THE RELIABILITY OF THREE DEVICES USED FOR MEASURING VERTICAL JUMP HEIGHT", which confirmed my suspicions showing that for men the Just Jump system recorded higher measurements by an average of around 7.5-9cm, quite the difference.
