Had them for a year now, no issues the battery life gives me quite a bit between use, I use them for about 2 hours a day every other day on the train and charge them every 2 weeks not that they're run out but only for piece of mind. The noise cancelling is bonkers good and the fit straight out of the box perfect although you do get a couple of other adapters.

I have used in ear headphones for years and am easily pleased so don’t normally go for this level of headphone, but along came some vouchers and Wow! The sound is amazing; the noise cancelling is just fantastic; it chills me out in noisy places, immerses me in my books or music, films etc. I often just put them in to shut out the rest of the world and keep me calmer. The fit is great. Just take the time to try out the different sizes and when you get the right size for you, you will know. They never fall out (walking, small bursts of jogging - no sprinting or long jogging sessions so can’t comment on those). I read some comments about the battery level in the case not being available and yes, it can be a pain because it can be too late for the next session of listening but it hasn’t affected me often. There were also comments about getting the earbuds out of the case which was noticeable at first, but then I worked out you simply push each earbud in gently towards the centre of the case and they are then easy to extract. Highly recommend these headphones; I am thrilled with them.

The left earbud has never worked despite going patently through instructions to reset etc. It seems that other people have had a similar issue. I was a Bose fan and own other products, but my QC Ultra buds are awkward to get out of the case and don't work properly.

Initially hesitant about earbuds - I prefer them to be connected in a wire.. but the sound quality of these is outstanding. Easy to pair to an iPhone 13pro max, case is nice and compact, and charges the buds well (easy 5-6x wear for an hour or so in the gym before I even need to thing about charging again) Variable Noise cancelling allows you to filter out none to all noise on a sliding scale and you can save custom ‘settings’ for different use environments (like home, gym, office etc). The 3D Spatial Audio that tracks and moves as you move your head really adds another dinention to audio especially with high quality audio formats and songs.

Well,,,,,,, the noise cancellation is world class, it's actually on a par with my qc45s, they sound fantastic and I'm on aac codec, if your device has aptx adaptive it will sound even better. My phone has aptx, but not the adaptive version. Battery is good with a steady and equal drain on both buds. The comfort is astounding, I put them in straight out of the box with the small wing and medium tips that are pre-fitted and after 10 minutes you literally can't tell you're wearing them, superb, no cabin pressure or any discomfort after 3 hours of constant use. I was offered a software update after opening the app on my phone but it kept failing, so I opened up the app on my tablet (galaxy tab a 9 plus) and the update started to download, this took nearly an hour (jesus), then they wouldn't pair with the Bose app on my phone! I had to factory reset and start from scratch in the end. Bose your app support is totally crap! Got soundcore liberty 4 nc buds and these instantly pair with literally anything and the soundcore app is superb. £55 for my soundcore. I paid £220 for these ultras and I will keep them simply because the anc and sound are first class, but if you get frustrated with apps and Bluetooth faffing about then go for the xm5. So summing up, BOSE you have been saved a return by your anc and sound, but sort your crappy app out, it's frankly embarrassing for you... Rant over..... Edit..... A few tips, if you can comfortably wear the large wings, I recommend you use them, it makes taking them out of the case a doddle. Also, when you finally get the app to work, set up your eq, buttons etc then press the settings cog on the homescreen, select "modes" and toggle on the switch to remember your modes, this keeps your buds programmed to all your settings, this does work. Then just delete the app, I've had zero Bluetooth connection problems since. Battery test down to 50%,anc on, volume 70%,aac codec, 3 hour 34 minutes. Both buds drain evenly. If you use immersion mode (pointless gimmick) then you can take 2 hours of your battery life (around 4 hours). So, please be patient, the glitches have settled down now and I'm slowly falling in love with these buds.

Bought as a present for my partner who is absolutely delighted with them. Very effective noise cancelling and terrific sound quality. It's what you buy Bose for! And getting them in the Black Friday sale made them no more expensive than any other really high end set of earbuds. I am told they are the best sound ever. Secure enough fit for everyday wear, haven't tried in gym/running though so can't comment on that. Only possible gripe would be the app could be improved a bit compared to some others, a bit limited in the three band equaliser but use a different, better, equaliser app anyway.

These earphones are fantastic. The noise cancelling in incredible, the sound is rich and beautiful and theyre extremely comfortable. I would love them - if they worked. They constantly connect then lose connection, or fail to connect. 10 minutes of faffing about with them in the case and out of it, losing connection after 10/15 mins and just being totally unreliable. The most annoying item ive bought in ages, as they are so good when they actually work.

These have been brilliant, except that one year almost to the day that I’ve had them and one will now not charge. They were a lot of money for me, I did expect them to last longer than a year! I’ve cleaned out the charger and done a factory reset but it still won’t charge, I guess I’m down to listening with just one ear now. Disappointing!
