My long hair cat with her tufted paws requires hygenic grooming to prevent her paws from being a litter trap and her backend from becoming grossly entangled. Before this kit I used scissors for her backend and didn’t touch her paws. She hated every moment of the clipping and would come out looking like a four year old was let loose with scissors and a vengence. Now, I’m not going to tell you that armed with this razor my kitty now looks like she emerged from a professional groomer because itthatvwould be lies, but I can say this has made both of our lives easier when this chore arises. Both razors are wickedly efficient making her fine, fluffy fur gone within seconds. The small razor allowed me to trim her paws to a reasonable level at an accruacy I couldn’t have obtained with a traditional razor. She now is tracking 90% less litter. Trimming her backend with the razor reduced the task by 90% of the time it usually took me with scissors. The sound is not alarming to her, she didn’t squirm, she didn’t bite it, and she was fairly chill with it until she saw fluffs of her own fur and became dramatic. The razors were very easy to operate and comfortable to manuever. I have small hands with a tinge of nerve issues so I was grateful how light they were. Battery life was excellent. I could complete her entire trim with only a 30% depletion. And cleaning the razors after were super easy with their included brushes. I thought this was awesome!

I have 3 Maine Coons. If you know Maine Coons, you know the struggle of having to constantly brush them. However no matter how much I brush & comb them they seem to get matting under their arms & by their backsides. It’s a never ending struggle. Not to mention the tufts of hair that grow like weeds on the underside of their paws & between their toes. This clipper set is A+!! The smaller trimmer is PERFECT for getting that funky toe & foot hair down. It is super quiet & none of my trio even blinked an eye at it. The larger clipper is great for getting those under arm & hind end mats. It went thru them like butter. Best tip is….if you are using these (or any clippers) for a length of time, periodically check to make sure the clippers aren’t getting hot. Most any power clipper will get warm/hot after continuous use. I was using these for about 15-20 minutes before they started getting to the point where I took a break & let them cool down. The temp wasn’t totally hot at that point, but didn’t want the clippers making them uncomfortable. The set also comes with a nice pair of shears, a metal comb & different length guards for the large clipper & a extra attachment for the small trimmer along with a small bottle of lubricating oil for the blades. I’m VERY happy with this set & highly recommend.

I have arthritis in my hands, so shaving my large Maine Coon was difficult with my heavy corded shaver. It was $150 when I bought it. I bought this little cordless because it said it is quiet. It is great! Smaller around and light weight compared to my old one. It is so much easier to use with my sore joints. We have shaved my female Maine Coon twice a year for some time, but it takes 2 people to keep her still. My male Maine Coon is scared of everything. (My vet prescribed gabapentin to calm him for grooming. ) No doubt the med helped, but he purred through most of the shaving. The shaver is nice and quiet and sharp. It sliced through the mats on his back side. I only used 1/4 of the charge on my big boy. I was thinking I would have to pay a mobile groomer to come do the job for $150. If I had to buy a new one every time it would still leave me money ahead.

Decent product that works. Obviously its not Commercial level but it works good on cats and small dogs. I think the battery would struggle on a medium to larger dog. All in all, great gang for the buck!!!!!!

My long haired ragdoll kitty needs routine grooming. Taking her to a groomer is just not an option due to the anxiety it causes. So I searched for clippers that would do the job. Boy do these fit the bill!! They cut so well it speeds up the grooming process! Seriously, they cut through her fun like butter!!! AND, there is no fear of cutting or nipping her skin. Love love love these clippers. The small paw trimmers are just a sharp and make clearing the fur from between her paw pads a quick and easy job. It comes with a pair of scissors that are great for finishing around her mane and the metal comb is awesome for combing out mats.

I was very impressed with the quality and packaging of this set. I got more than I realized was in the set (2 clippers) all guard sizes and the 2nd clipper was smaller for tight small areas like paws and an even smaller attachment for that to switch out if needed. It also came with a very nice metal comb and a fabulous pair of scissors for mats. Lightweight clippers, quieter than your average clippers but not whisper quiet so for anxious cats it may still scare them. The scissors have no side guard to prevent getting too close to skin so just be careful if cutting mats to ensure u have all fur and no skin between your fingers using your fingers as a guard. The battery life is impressive. Far more battery life than you will need in one use.

My Maine Coons fur was soo long and he had a few tight mats. This clipper cut through it all with ease!! It is quiet and the multiple speeds helped to make it easy and quick. Highly recommend this clipper set for long haired cats.

Used on long haired cat very old and has stopped grooming himself so he has too much matted fur thst I’m ashamed it’s gotten so bad. These clippers ran very smoothly against the skin and are quiet with two speeds and five adjustable lengths (without the guards) and I’m very impressed with the ease and effectiveness of this product. It also come with a second trimmer and an additional head for thst as well (for smaller areas such as fur on paws). We previously were using wahl clippers which did not work nearly as good! This review is based on two uses so hope it continues to work as smooth with time.
