De Longhi advised me that this model is a good basic coffee maker and I think I agree - its a recent puchase. The advice that cups should be pre-warmed is worth taking and the taste is good.

Faulty after three weeks. Replacement also faulty
Worked for three weeks before the water tank light started to stay on despite the tank being full and all troubleshooting done.Edit to add. Amazon replaced the faulty machine and one day after receiving the new one I’ve noticed that it’s leaking water from the plastic casing underneath. Totally unreliable so will be returning the replacement too.

How long will it last?
A lovely machine with automatic milk frothing. Unfortunately it started to malfunction after 5 months use at 4 cups a day and i had to return it.

User friendly machine.
This machine is really very good, although it is quite noisy. The coffee is easy to make and the milk frother does a fine job especially as you can make the milk substantially hotter than the automatic setting. We haven't taken it apart to clean it yet, just the day to day basics so far which seem to be easy. Good buy

Good coffee maker
It makes good coffee, is a bit noisy, and vibrates a bit, so the cup moves. It needs some strips to prevent the cup from moving.

Very poor product
Do not purchase this product.The pressure drops after about 20 cups.The steam function is rubbish. again, it does not deliver enough steam after about 20 cups.The problems occur after the return window closes!!There is little or no support, (wait on the phone for hours!!!
