I bought this lamp for my son to use while he worked on his WarHammer and it has been a great product. He has used it for a few years and have not had any issues. It is a sturdy lamp that doesn't take up a lot of room. He seems to like the versatility of the level of light he needs. I think it was a good product for the price.

This little lamp is exactly what I was looking for. Not too big, not too small. It is just right. The clarity is excellent with perfect brightness. I love the ability to adjust the warmth of the light as well to make it less shocking on the eyes. The brightness adjustment is also a nice feature as well, allowing for late night work that is less bright as to not light up the entire room. The weighted base works well as long as you don't extend the lamp arm completely horizontal, but it is very adequate. Nice purchase overall and I might need another one for the wife for when she works on her jewelry.

Does an excellent job for painting minis. The light is much brighter than I expected. Even if I don't use the magnifying glass, I use the light. My wife will sometimes use it to paint her nails. I use the base so its easier to move around. I'm sure the clamp works fine but I've barely used it.

The lamp & magnifier themselves are great, the magnifier works great + the light is nice and bright. And the arm has clamps w/ knobs on the joints that you can adjust/tighten to suit your needs. And it's nice that it includes the USB charger - not all of these lamps do. Only the base is meh, it's just not heavy enough to hold the lamp if you move it very far to one side. So I used the clamp to hold the lamp. Measure your desk to see if the length of this lamp works for you - I needed a shorter distance for mine, and this one works fine. But for some desks, I could see where you might want a different lamp with a longer arm.

One of the joys of getting older is needing bi-focals... or if you're really "lucky".... progressive lenses. Normally this isn't a big deal but when you get a splinter, it's hard to keep your head in the right angle to see through your bi-focals, hold a light and work the tweezers all while being able to SEE what you're working on. This magnifying glass saved the day by helping me with 2 of those tasks (the SEEING part and the light). Without a doubt I would have still been battling the splinter without this lifesaver...and I have used it for several other projects since. The base is heavy enough that you don't need to clamp it down, unless you really want to. The light is bright enough to see whatever you need to see and since it's dimmable you can dial it back if need be. I really wish I would have bought this earlier as I've had several projects I could have used it on and for the price, I kind of kick myself for not getting it sooner. Don't wait...just get it.

Perfect size for when I need help seeing the tiny things I like to work on. So many settings so I can get the light just right for me wherever I am in the house. I really like that I can attach it to a table top or use the weighted base. And the price was very reasonable.

The light is very handy and the magnifying glass works well. Sturdy and worth the investment.

I guess I'm spoiled with pro quality magnifiers at work. This one is wobbly, run by USB cable and the lens is small. The small lens is the biggest problem. You don't get a clear look unless both eyes are looking through the lens near the center. Your face has to be so far back that the lens needs to be very close to what you're looking at. Not much room for hands and tools.
