The product itself is solid and the screws provided are of good quality. However, the installation is not straightforward. Since there’s no downward support, the entire load depends solely on the screws holding into the bathroom tiles. This becomes risky, especially if elderly people lean their full weight on it while standing. Many bathroom walls don’t have concrete backing behind the tiles, which means the screws may not grip properly — making the installation unstable and unsafe. Buy this only if you’re absolutely sure your wall can hold the screws firmly. Otherwise, it’s a safety concern.

The hand rail does not stand against the wall for long ,when not in use. It drops down from vertical position to horizontal, making a loud noise sometimes even in middle of the night.

This item would have been better had it been made with stronger nails to attach to the wall.
