Best shirt stay on the market
Finally a solution for my shirts so they stay tucked in and I don’t have to think about my shirt coming untucked every five seconds. I’ve tried all the other options to keep your shirt tucked in. This is the only one that is comfortable and works perfectly.

Excellent product that shows more refinement and innovation than it gets credit for.
I held off on providing a review of these until I had used them for several weeks, and with different types of clothing. Thus far, I am very satisfied with the construction and performance of the product, and I appreciate some of the subtle design considerations that are not specifically outlined by the seller. I have worn these with both dress shirts and golf shirts, and found that the adjustments provide ample range for adapting to slightly longer or shorter garments, and also to different fabrics. For example, synthetic blends tend to look too taut when held with the same tension of cotton shirts, but these S-holders allow you to reduce the pull so the fit looks correct. I also want to emphasize the brilliance of the design. I was skeptical of the thigh elastic at first, but after wearing them for a couple weeks, I noticed that the elastic on the thigh allows the holder to shift slightly up and down as you sit or stand. The taper of the thigh encourages the elastic band to drift lower as you move, effectively "calibrating" the tension of the shirt straps. The band can also pull up slightly and expand, along with the straps themselves, for bending or reaching movements. The net result is that the system does not feel constricting but maintains a good tension. The three straps also work well, encouraging the pulling the front and back of the shirt flat, and allowing any excess material to bunch on the side, if required. Comfort it also good. I followed the sizing guide provided by the vendor, and after wearing these for five minutes, I forget they are even there. I was concerned that they may feel tight while seated, but that has not been my experience. I'll also note that the straps, clips, and bands themselves are very low profile, and generally will not show on slacks or pants, unless they are very tight in the thigh. The clips have held up well so far, as have the plastic adjustments. It remains to be seen how well the product will hold up over regular use. I don't expect the product to last a lifetime, but I would hope that the elastic, clips, and plastic tensioners hold up for a year at least. You will still occasionally need to adjust your waistband to allow the shirts to evenly tighten, especially if you like a very taut look, but I have not had to re-tuck, tighten, or re-attach any of the clips yet. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase, and assuming they hold up for a reasonable lifespan, I will be an on-going customer. You can judge from my history that I do not provide many reviews, but these deserve one.

Good quality, should last years
Good quality, made of sturdy material, but 1 of the 6 clasps needed to be bent a little for a tighter grip

Gets the job done!!
I am a lady but I got these anyway because I was so sick of my shirts coming untucked at work. They are a bit bulky and you can kind of see the shape of them through my work pants, but I honestly don't care because they work so damn well!! Super functional and stretchy. They don't ride up or down. You can change the length based on shirt length easily and they are simple to put on.

Excellent quality, does the job
I work in law enforcement, and I'm one of few officers who bothers wearing shirt stays after the academy. I like looking sharp, but the cheaper shirt stays you can buy from Walmart and other stores weren't cutting it anymore. The elastic started fraying, the metal started rusting and the clips wouldn't hold on to the shirt anymore. I went through at least one cheap pair a month. I baulked at spending nearly $50 on a pair of shirt stays, but I'm glad I did. These are not only more comfortable (though they will take some getting used to if you're used to the ones that attach to your socks) but they hold the shirt much, much firmer. The addition of the third clip really seals the deal and keeps my uniform looking professional throughout my all too frequent 16 hour shifts. My honest opinion of these - if you aren't going to wear them REGULARLY, they're probably not worth the investment. If you're a man who wears a suit (or dress shirt, for that matter) only a few times a year, just buy a cheap pair from Men's Wearhouse and call it a day. If you wear suits/shirts or uniforms on a regular basis, though... these are a must have. Time will tell about the longevity of these shirt stays, but so far I think they've been worth every penny. If my opinions change, I'll update this review accordingly.

Decent shirt stays but a bit overpriced
I had to wear shirt stays for certain uniforms in the military, believe it or not. We wore the kind that you clip to your socks, wrap around the backs of your knees, and then clipped to your shirttails. They were a hassle, but they kept our service blouses inspection ready. I've worn them on and off in the decade plus since leaving the military, and recently decided to upgrade. I settled on the NV Holders since they're well reviewed and seem to be well made. Pros: - They're snug but comfortable - They're well constructed and of good quality materials - Don't notice they're on - Leg straps don't move around Cons: - The tighteners loosen pretty quickly, within 20 minutes the stays have lost most of their tension - The clasps that attach to my shirt pop off frequently, no matter how much or how little fabric I feed into the clasp nor how good a bite the clasp gets - No easy release on the leg straps, so a sit-down trip to the restroom means everything has to be undone and redone Unfortunately, the first two cons almost defeat the purpose of wearing shirt stays at all. As such, I wouldn't pay full price for these again. Other things I wish were different, but didn't take off a star for: - Wish could remove/reconfigure each stay, depending on the shirt I don't always need three - Wish could move the stays around on the leg strap so could more effectively "shape" how my shirt sits on my body

Nice Shirt Stay
Works as intended. Comfortable. Have used a handful of times on multiple brand shirts without any issues with clips.

Great if you never plan to squat or bend over again
If you're unfamiliar with shirt stays, you might think these are the bees knees. But, after having been in the military for about a decade and with the Marines, shirt stays are a way of life for me, and I've tried many. Some pointers- - never buy shirt stays which loop under the foot, they'll strain your arches - buy white toned shirt stays if wearing white, semi-sheer pant legs (such as Navy dress whites) - metal clamps and pliars are helpful in sealing your straps at the desired tightness I was excited for these because they don't run past the knee- this means eliminating the long protruding pant leg which makes it look like you're on stilts or carrying a shotgun in each pant leg. However, when it comes to grip, these have almost none at all. Military brand Vanguard shirtstays have a sliding loop closure that requires a tiny learning curve but are Excellent at maintaining their grip. The NV Holders on the other hand have a clipping tooth system similar to most suspender clasps. They do not grip well. If your shirt does not have a chunky seam at the bottom, they will slip right off. You can mitigate this problem somewhat by wearing an undershirt, lining the two shirt seems together, and clamping them simultaneously, which is a little bit of a pain in the #%@. but it Mostly works, except when you squat, bend over, or climb in your carseat without moving like a robot; I always have to tie my shoes Before I clip the stays to my shirt, cause I'm not bending over to do it after the fact. Save yourself some time, get Vanguard sock clipping stays, or try something new, but don't get NV Holders.
