8BitDo Classic Controller Travel Case for 8BitDo Ultimate Controller with Charging Dock

Bought to protect a new controller so as to not damage the sticks as it rides in my bag. Controller fits in side perfectly, spacers to keep everything secure and not ruin the sticks. Flip open door on the back to plug in the charging dock but not enough room inside to carry the cable.

The case fits my 8Bitdo Ultimate Xbox Controller and keeps the daily life wear and tear to a minimum. I like the port in the back to connect the USB-C cable so I can keep the dock and dongle in the case as long as the cable is attached to the pc. I got a second cable to connect the controller to my Xbox so the case can live on my desk. The inside is soft so it shouldn’t scuff anything if joseled around. Haven’t travelled with it yet, but I will take it on my next vacation to use the Bluetooth controller with my laptop. I recommend it if you have pets or travel a lot.

This is a phenomenal case, built specifically for this controller, super handy for travel, or just sitting in its normal charging location. The rear flat allows it to be plugged in and charging while sitting in the case.

The case is great, protects the controller from damages and even has a small orifice at the rear for charging, which works sometimes...

Listen — I don’t usually write reviews unless it’s for soup or local raccoons, but this case? This case, man. It's like… okay, imagine a cloud, but not a cloud in the sky, like a metaphorical cloud that holds your dreams and maybe a USB-C cable if it fits. I bought this thing for my 8BitDo controller, or maybe it was a sandwich, but either way it zips up nice. First thing I noticed? The smell. Not bad. Smells like progress. Like the kind of smell you get when someone vacuum-seals responsibility. Zipper? Smooth like jazz in a dentist's waiting room. Fits the controller perfectly, which is good, because I’ve been burned before — long story involving a potato peeler and a PS2 memory card. Anyway, I took this case with me on a trip to Cincinnati. I don’t live in Cincinnati, never have. But the point is, I took it, and it traveled. Sat next to me like a tiny, polite robot. TSA didn’t even ask questions. That's how you know it's legit. Padding inside is soft, like the inside of a baked potato if the potato was also trained in Krav Maga. I dropped it once on linoleum and the controller didn’t even flinch. I, however, did — old football injury. (Never played football.) Sometimes I just unzip it to look at the controller and remind myself that we're all doing the best we can. In conclusion, this case holds the controller. That’s important. Not everything holds what it says it will. I bought a mini fridge once that just cried when I opened it. But this? This is real. Five stars. Or however many stars we’re allowed to give. Maybe it’s seven. Who's in charge here?

Fits the controller perfectly with the charging base. The issue with the case is because it holds the charging base the case is very large. If you are using it to store at home it is perfect, if you were looking to travel with the unit in your carry on/personal item it's too big. Had to buy a different case and leave the charging base at home to get it to fit in my bag comfortably.

Perfect Case for the controller!

It is a nice travel case for the controller. I am using this for the Bluetooth ultimate 2. The controller and dock fits, but I don't think it will charge in this case since it doesn't sit right in dock. Other than that last part I can cary the controller with me wherever I go without worry.
