Although we haven’t used this feature yet, we find it useful and convenient for future experiments. The shredder fully met our expectations. We shredded carrots, beets, cabbage, and other vegetables. The shredder works especially well with cabbage when it’s cut a bit finer. The process is fast and even, which significantly simplifies making salads and other dishes, saving time and effort. The body of the meat grinder and the attachments are made of high-quality metal that is easy to clean and doesn’t rust over time. It’s easy to attach, works great for grinding meat, and shreds cheese like a champ. Definitely beats buying pre-ground anything. Just cut the meat into smaller pieces and keep it cold (partially frozen)unless you enjoy watching it struggle. Cleanup isn’t terrible if you don’t let everything dry into cement. My mixer has officially been promoted.

Nicely done, this grinder has multiple uses and applications. Fits easily onto my Kitchenaid stand mixer. The cooks in the family find it very efficient.

Purchased for my daughter for Christmas and they love the slicer. They haven't used the grinder yet. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Good product, works great. However, it says dishwasher safe, but it oxidized very quickly. Just be wary of that.

Do not buy this trash. I bought this in May - did not try the grinder yet, but used the shredder (for cheese) about five times. Last time I used it - it started making a screaming noice like a succubus being summoned from hell. I powered through, but then when I went to use it again the little flipper switch on the main part would not budge - also the silver paint had begun to peel off (note, I only handwashed this item - wondering now how much silver paint we ate). This went straight to the garbage and I ordered the actual kitchen aide shredded (which is not even expensive) and it is 1000 times better. Do not waste your money on this.

These are a good investment for my home. I use it to grind chicken and turkey into ground meat. It is so much cheaper than buying it.
