These earpods have been great once everything was setup properly, I bought the Floogoo FMA121 to link up to the TV for the auracast option, but you can use it on other devices as well, this device is better to plug in a pc first to fully setup because it has a few settings I wanted to turn on, once it was all setup and connected to the TV, everything sounded so clear, the earpods have a custom button menu through the creative app, so Ive set the double click on the right earpod to exit/enter broadcast, so now I can watch movies on the TV or listen to Music on my phone by just clicking the right earpod twice, the sound quality is so clear and the base doesn't distort and is impressive for the price, I did change the silicon cups to the small ones and now they fit pretty secure in my ears, they do come with small,medium and large cups. Another good thing is that you can charge them on a wireless charger which is handy, they seem pretty good quality and feel premium which is a bonus, they don't feel light like the cheap ones either.

The left earbud doesn't work - it connects and says it works in the phone along with ambient/noise cancellation but no audio gets streamed to it across my Windows or Android devices. It does support Bluetooth LE Codec for high-quality simultaneous mic/playback but the left ear will randomly disconnect. They are hard to get out of the case. I wouldn't recommend these. After a week of use (including firmware updates, factory resets) I'm sending them back.

Having never owned any headphones by CREATIVE before - I have Pebble Speakers - I was unsure what to expect when I was sent these to review as part of the Amazon Vine Program. Being a habitual wearer of AirPods Pro I definitely wasn't expecting them to come anywhere near in terms of sound reproduction but I'm happy to have been proved wrong. First off, these are comfortable to wear, more comfy than my AirPods and less prone to falling out so they are already winning a spot on my HiFi table. Initially I wasn't overly impressed with the sound quality, nor the ANC but before writing them off I decided to download the accompanying app and see if I could tune them better to my tastes. I highly recommend you do this, particularly by taking the time to utilise the head mapping feature, this takes several photos of your head and adjusts reproduction accordingly. I will admit I found it impossible to do alone, there is zero in the way of instruction, but after passing the phone to my wife and allowing her to do what was required the app confirmed my head was mapped and the difference, before and after, in sound reproduction is definitely noticeable. I will be checking out their other offerings.

Creative has always been a solid brand for me. Having their Soundblaster PC music card was a dream of many back in the 90s. I then had their MP4 player, which for the times was a brilliant device (unfortunately stolen from me). So I was expecting these earphones to have a very decent standard. But I was left very disappointed. I have no idea where all the positive reviews come from. There is always a chance I might have received a faulty set, but still there's so much that’s wrong with these buds… The biggest issue - they cut off. Every time. One earbud, but it can be either the left or the right one. It starts in less than a minute from pairing. I tried everything - resetting numerous times, re-pairing, giving it a moment after pairing before playing music, going through multiple disconnections (and then re-connections) hoping it will eventually work fine - no good. It could be particularly incompatible with my OnePlus 8 Pro. But they're the only earbuds that have this issue. And I have quite a collection. You'd think with all the Bluetooth protocols listed they'd be faultless - think again. Next big issue is the sound. It's muffled and not quality at all. I have cheaper sets that have better overall sound quality. I tried the equalizer in the app and enabled the SXFI option - all it did was ‘supercharge’ the sound. But it still remained poor sound. The touch controls are very limited and fall out of standard that most other sets have. You can pretty much only play/pause and skip to the next track. That's one of the poorest choices I've seen! I'm a fan of physical buttons anyway, but that's beside the point. The buds are bulky and stick out of my ears way too much. No discretion at all. And I used the smallest available inserts. Even getting them out of the charging case is a challenge. I normally grab the rubber ends - that's the best way I've come up with. The positive is of course they won't come out on their own, no matter what. The app is designed to be a one-stop shop. It has a music player that obviously requires permission to view files on your mobile. The equalizer only works with that player. If you have an external favorite app (and I do), it will not work with it. Same goes for the SXFI option. The ‘head mapping’ option in the app? Why that's just a perfect way to give away your biometrics…It will scan your ears, which makes some sense. And then it wants to scan your face…What for??? No way. The only positives I found is the general looks and the noise canceling. It has the feel of a good product and the charging case in particular looks really nice. The ANC works pretty well too. I added a star for that. But I would not pay £60 for it, not even £30 with all the main issues it has. There are so many other sets that are superior to this one. These support the new Bluetooth codec LC3 and LC3+ which promises much better audio quality and lower latency. Before discussing codecs, I'll talk about the hardware: These are big, but fit snugly and seem secure. Battery life is excellent. Sound quality is excellent using AAC. I can ABX Lame MP3 96 Kbps and CD quality, which I don't really expect to do with Bluetooth headsets (obviously the CD quality was converted to AAC when transmitted over Bluetooth). Noise reduction is 8+ out of 10. On to Bluetooth codecs The old standard for Bluetooth compression is SBC, which is supported by all Bluetooth devices, but is fairly awful and you can definitely tell (ABX tests are a way of doing this whilst you are blinded to what you are listening to and will give you a statistical probability as to whether you are telling the difference by chance or not). The new standard is LC3 and its extension LC3+ Not many devices support LC3 or LC3+ yet - you need a dongle from Creative (hard to get hold of), Windows 11, and Android 13 device that supports it, or an up to date Linux distribution. It looks like Apple will support it soon, which is a big endorsement as they have stuck with AAC despite, till now, technically better competing codecs (LDAC, AptX, LHDC, etc). The thing with all these competing codecs is that you need hardware that supports them and manufacturers have to pay to implement them in their speakers and headphones. Because LC3 is an open standard and manufacturers don't have to pay to implement it (unlike the others, except SBC and AAC), you can be confident that it will become more supported very quickly, especially now brands such as Creative are releasing products that support it. AAC is pretty much good enough and the other codecs offer high resolution audio, but LC3 offers very big advantages: 1. the compatibility through the open standard, as above; 2. the data stream is isochronos meaning that it can send left channel to left headphone and right to right instead of both channels to both sides, which saves bandwidth and allows you to actually use a higher total bit rate whilst also saving battery life; 3. LC3+ can also reduce latency to insanely low levels, so there is virtually no delay - something you may notice in movies and games using other codecs; 4. When you listen with LC3, you know you are getting a minimum of 80 kbps per channel or 160 kbps stereo, but likely you'll be getting higher (e.g. 192 kbps or 248 kbps) with low latency and fewer dropouts. I would like creative to clarify what parts of LC3+ they support (such as high resolution) or if it is only ultra low latency, but this is a minor point. Overall, I very much recommend these. Hardware and sound-wise, these are excellent. Codec support also contributes to excellent sound quality and these are at the cutting edge.

I will start with reviewing the earbuds themselves , then have my moan about the software In the box you get a lovely small case which is well made and has a discreet button on the front , push this and the row of led;s will light up telling you the state of charge . Open the lid and the two earbuds are inside , again lovely looking buds , they charge direct from the case and when they are the led lights will show you they are charging. They have a small bit of plastic covering their charge connection so make sure you pull that off The case can also wireless charge also on your wireless charger pad The buds come fitted with foams/rubbers , but there are two pairs supplied as spare in the box The ones that were fitted were fine for me and they fitted really nicely in my ears and felt very secure when in there. They connected easily to my phone and straight away I was playing music , they have noise cancelling and I could definitely notice that , I could not hear the TV on in the same room . The sound quality was really good , even better if I could adjust the treble and bass ...... you can but more of that later. It also has a charging lead in the box and an instruction manual , and then it has the leaflet to tell you about the SXFI ! SXFI , spatial holography , is what Creative tell you to download the app to get the full experience of these ear buds So I downloaded the app , you have to register (its free) and then you connect to your earbuds and then from this app you have an equalizer , so you can adjust treble and bass which is good You then are asked by the app to take a photo of your ears and face for it to set up the sound ?? (not sure how that works , but I complied, you can skip that part if you want) Now it says it can play any songs on my phone through this app to get the SXFI experience , but no , the only song it could "see" was the included demo song ? OK so I will stream from my Amazon Music , oh hold on.... no , it cant play songs from any streaming source ...... really !! So all I had was one demo song to play and yes there was a distinct difference the song sounded great , but come on Creative sort out your software So in conclusion , great quality , good earbuds from a known brand and with the current 20% voucher a decent price , but they could be better if they sorted out the app and the software

I am a big fan of Creative products, ever since the first Soundblaster cards - remember when you had to fit on in your PC if you wanted to have a CD-ROM drive? So I was looking forward to trying these out. The sound is right for the price point, as is the ANC. I found the fit to be very good, cutting out a lot of ambient noise, so ANC didn't have to do a lot of work for me. Everything else works the same as the other wireless buds I have had or tried. The case does have wireless charging capability, which I have not had before, but as I don't have a wireless charging pad I can't actually use it. So why not five stars? Well there are few things I am not so keen on. First of all, and I know this is a personal preference, I don't like having those straight bits sticking out like on Apple earpods. I prefer it all compact like with the Jabras. This is made a bit worse by the buds themselves being a bit on the chunky side. I am also not too keen on the controls. The single multi-function button on each ear is purely touch-sensitive, with no click to it at all. That makes it easy to end up with a triple-click instead of a double-click. Also, there is no 'back' feature. You can skip to the next track but not back to the previous one, or start of the current track. Although pairing does work. I just can't keep a connection with my phone. Within a couple of minutes I lose the left ear. However, this only happens with my Moto phone. If I connect to my PC or my laptop or my work phone (Samsung) they are all OK. SO the issue is more of compatibility with one specific device, albeit the one I want to use most of the time. I did try rebooting the phone, and doing a factory reset on the buds, but that did not help. At least I now have a set of buds I can use with my work phone though. Worst of all, and this might see like a small thing, the buds a really difficult to get out of the case. There is nothing to get a grip on. I can live with the controls, but struggling to get the buds out is just an unforgiveable design flaw., which is unexpected from a company like Creative. I have some Pebble X speakers and a bone conduction headset from them that are both fantastic, but they took their eye off the ball with this product.

L'application SXFI (testée sur Android) propose de "scanner" ses oreilles et son visage. je ne dois pas être très malin, car j'ai dû me faire aider pour cadrer correctement les oreilles. Le son lors des appels est très clair, d'après les interlocuteurs. Le son est équilibré, agréable pour la voix (radio, podcasts), ainsi que pour la musique. Lorsqu'on utilise l'option SXFI dans l'application, on ressent une légère "spatialisation" sonore. Ceci n'apparaît que lorsqu'on utilise le player intégré à l'application. La longévité des oreillettes est très bonne, supérieure à 8h (sans compter qu'on peut recharger les oreillettes avec le boîtier). Même s'il ne s'agit pas de très haut de gamme, je trouve le rapport qualité / prix très bon.

They seem to have the same driver as the regular Zen Air but updated Bluetooth 5.3 LE etc. Very good sound quality overall. No issues. Completed a firmware update upon first opening. Great

Regalate in occasione di un 18esimo insieme ad altri regali. Il festeggiato le ha sicuramente apprezzate! Le ho provate e devo dire che l'audio risulta corposo, ma se si passa da delle aripods pro 2gen come le mie sicuramente si sente la differenza. La custodia di ricarica mi restituisce un certo senso di solidità che non mi aspettavo, così come gli auricolari. Se dovessi ricomprarle lo farei altre 1000 volte, a patto di avere un budget limitato. Quindi direi migliori auricolari budget se vuoi avere una qualità mediamente superiore senza aspettarti la qualità di auricolari di fascia premium.
