Hunter womens Original Short Gloss Rain Boots

The boots are very nice and beautiful. I wear a size 8 med in most footwear. My daughter-in-law owns a pair and we wear the same size so I tried on her boots with thick socks. They felt comfortable so I ordered my normal size (8 US size) though I read many reviews that mentioned size running bigger. When boots arrived I put on with thick socks and immediately questioned myself if I should have sized down :(. I walked around the house with boots on, hoping I would feel differently. The other issue I have is that my calves, though not fat, they are more muscular causing me not to wear higher boots. Thought I could get away with mid/low calve boot. I should say the boots are NOT tight in the calve area and I could fit two fingers space in this area at calve area, however, for me it was too close for comfort. So I knew I would not be comfortable sizing down to a 7. So I returned.

Just what I needed! Comfy and true to size. I’m a 6.5 but like extra room in boots so I ordered a 7 - they fit perfectly. I have two other pairs of tall Hunters and was looking for boots which I can quickly step into and still look nice.

Beautiful shiny red color! I am 5' tall, and these hit just at mid calf. I am a 7 1/2 in shoes & boots, and the instructions were to order down for a bit looser fit. I ordered a 7, and with socks they're just fine. Not big bulky socks, not thin dress socks, just normal socks. They are rain boots so I won't be running in them, but they are comfortable for rain boots, not really clunky, and they have a nice foot shape to them.

They run a little big to me ! Love hunter boots. Never complained. But these are super shiny. Lol. I know that’s material I bought. Lol but it definitely stands out. Love them tho. My feet wasn’t wet or cold. So I’ll take it.

Love my rain boots. Durable, classy, and comfortable! This is my 3rd pair. They never wear out just get scuffed over the years so I from wear my old ones to work outside in. Perfect to keep you dry and versatile with leggings or jeans. So easy to put on and take off. Function as designed for!

I’ve been longing to own a pair of Hunter Boots and I’ve always wanted a red pair but can never find the Tall rain boots available in my size and/or color (military red). I tried the original Tall boot at REI store and it was too tight around my atheletic calves. I think I would need the adjustable boots or wide calf ones. Then I saw these short boots online and decided that these might be better off for me to fit in than the Tall boots. So I ordered them and 2 days later they arrived. It came in it’s original packaging (nice red box) the boots are so pretty! I think I want one in every color. It’s very sturdy and great support. I ordered a size 11, and it seems a bit bigger than my normal size 11 shoes but they still fit. It comes up halfway to my thicker part of my calves and they fit well. I love them and I will be ordering another pair most likely in a size 10. Great product!

I had been wanting to buy these for such a long time, but couldn’t based on the price. Then my daughter mentioned that I kept buying cheap ones that don’t last I could have already just purchased the Hunter boots. She was absolutely right! However, Costco had them cheaper price in a matte black finish. But I wanted the glossy black. I went ahead and tried them. I normally wear a size 6 1/2. I tried on a six and it was really hard to get my foot past the ankle portion with normal socks. So, I tried seven and it fit perfectly. The takeoff was a little bit of a struggle and I have narrow feet and thin ankles. I went online and ordered a 7 in a glossy black. I have a little bit of room for a thicker sock, if needed. They are comfortable and not heavy or bulky.
