Wow! The difference is amazing!!!
The "Tendelux" IR Flood Light really works even better than I expected. After an easy installation, all I could say was "WOW", what difference. This was money well spent. My neighbor recommended this IR light for adding excellent night visibility for "bargain security cameras" that work fine in the daylight but have limited infrared lighting power for the night vision to be effective. In my opinion, the night time visibility for a security camera is just as important, if not more so, than in daylight! When I first saw the huge increase of brightness and how far my security cameras could easily see, I was amazed! For my situation, it illuminates very good out to at least 140 feet from the cameras, has wide coverage, is well made and I will confidently buy others as our security needs require. There are 2 improvements I could recommend: 1. Provide a mounting bracket that would allow for horizontal AND vertical adjustment at the same time, such as a "Ball and Socket" type of adjustment. This would greatly improve the ability to provide exact light "aiming" for many different circumstances. With the light mounted in the horizontal position, it only rotates "up or down" and when the light is mounted vertically, it only rotates "side to side" / right or left. Also, the bracket does not allow for an easy or convienient mounting experience on the corner of a building. 2. A built-in automatic "dusk to dawn" ( on/off ) feature would be nice also, but the light only draws a cost effective18 watts of electricity so I think it's a toss up but it would be another selling point to consider. For most people, this IR light will work very well as it's doing for me. I am very satisfied with the performance and the price!

The IR Illuminator
I bought two of these lights. One in April and one in May. I also bought two 100 to 200 array style IR lights from other manufacturers. The Tendelux IRs' worked better than the other IRs' which I returned to Amazon as they were rather useless in comparison to the Tendelux IRs'. The Tendelux IR that I bought in May decided to quit working, so I notified Tendelux and they made the warranty replacement a painless experience. The replacement light works with no problems. I commend Tendelux on their warranty word, and the painless process. I will probably be purchasing another Tendelux IR Illuminator as I built a large shed which blocks both IR and floodlight lighting. I live in the country, and I have numerous surveillance cameras, both bullet and PTZ but I need additional IR for the surveillance cameras to see behind the new shed as the surveillance IR lighting will not go out that far and I need to see my animals, as well as movement by other critters, both animal and human. Although the Tenedelux IR does not reach the 200 ft range advertised (as far as detection by my bullet cameras) the PTZ cameras pick up the additional lighting although not as well as I would like. But, in comparison with the array lighting IRs' that I tried, it is the better choice. I would recommend the Tendelux IR 200 ft long range illuminator to anyone who needs an area lit for their surveillance cameras as an additional light source (other than floodlights). Note: This post may be a duplicate as I may have messed up on the first one.

This is a good product very bright. Every bit of 200 ft or more. Good materials in construction.

big boost
we have some older wisenet cameras installed on the front of the house, 3 are aimed towards the front lawn and driveway, without the illuminator, at night, we could see a brighter circle about 15 feet across in the area directly in front of the camera, with the illuminator we can see pretty much out to the street now, we put it up a little higher than the cameras, so I think that helps the ir light spread a bit more, anyway, we were so happy with the change, we ended up installing 2 more, for a total of 3 across the front of the house, now we can see our whole entire front yard and complete driveway, instead of just 3 hot spots. on a side note, we also have a newer wifi camera out front that rotates, that camera always had decent night vision on its own, but now with the IR illuminators, that camera can see the house across the street! so these are excellent for older cameras and still help boost newer cameras I did notice the power adapters feel warm like others have mentioned, I wonder if I can get another power supply and use that to power all 3?? I'll have to look into that, either way, these are a great addition for us, 5 stars!

I have MANY of these. this is the 3rd ONE that has had a bad AC adapter. It literally broke & MELTED
I like these, and the light they output for my CCTV cameras is impressive, especially when compared with competitor brands, but for the love of all things holy PLEASE ship these with some REAL AC ADAPTERS!!! The last one lasted 3 weeks. Its still on the wall, only Ive run out of spare adapters. I literally can show you THREE of these (in this brand) still mounted to the side of my building, with ac adapters that are dead. One literally broke in half and melted. The other brands don't have as good of a light pattern OR as good of a light amount, BUT THEY ARE STILL WORKING!!! I almost bought some locally made IR illuminators last time, being sick of the bad adapters and all, but they are REALLY expensive. But lets be honest here... This item is DESIGNED to be mounted OUTSIDE. Why the heck is the adapter one that looks like something you'd use for a USB powered disco light? its also TOO EASY for a would be thief to simply walk up and unplug either end. If it had a REAL power cord at least you could hide that in the wall (like you do the connections to your CCTV cameras). I just wish there was a better option than these. Sick of wasting money. OH and the ac adapters I replace their CHEAP CHINA ADAPTERS with, they aren't really any better. We need better options here. Take it back to the drawing board and give us REAL options. how about a 14 gauge shielded plug with a *QUALITY* AC adapter? Instead of this throw away junk.

INCREDIBLY Great Support, Powerful light
This light significantly improved the night function of my Wyze Pan and Tilt camera. Mounting it outside allowed me to see much further and clearer. The first light stopped working after a few weeks but Jon Chen at Tendelux gave me absolutely amazing support. He responded to my e-mail within 12 hours and replaced the light within 48 hrs ! I will definitely buy another light for other areas on my property. It turns nighttime into day. Update: Tendelux stands behind their products 200%!!! The customer service is absolutely unbelievable. After a bit over a year from initial purchase, I experienced a loss of IR light output. ONE email to Tendelux and a replacement product was on its way. ABSOUTELY the best response from any company that I have dealt with. This light has the best output of any that I have seen and with this degree of solid support, how can you lose. I can now see much farther into my barn pasture and keep an eye out for any intruders that might be thinking of harming my critters. Thank you Jon Chen and Tendelux.

Much better than combination camera-lights
I've got several of those security cameras that are surrounded by a zillion little IR lights; maybe you do, too. The problem is that during frequent moisture conditions at night, invisible swirls of water vapor blow and spin across in front, partially or completely blocking the view. Same during rain and snow events. The problem is that the camera’s built-in lights are immediately adjacent to the lens and light up moisture particles that are normally invisible to us. The solution is to disable (or tape over) the internal IR lights and instead mount a separate IR floodlight several feet offset from the camera. Before, I would often get “fog stormed” out for an hour or more at a time on many nights, blinding me to what might be happening. Since one of my cameras is on guard duty to watch for bears in my bee apiary, this was unacceptable; my motion alarm would wake me up, but I had no way of seeing if it was a bear or just a passing deer. This particular Tendelux 200ft IR light works GREAT! It is sturdy, inconspicuous, reasonably priced, and very powerful. It is far brighter than what the camera provided. The bears voted for one star, but I voted for five!

Still low output, but not as bad as the first one. Who makes powerful IR 850nm illuminators? .
I have an Areccont 5426PMIR-S, It has its own internal IR light which comes on at night but the bugs cause problems so I wanted to get another IR and place it a few feet away. I disabled the camera's IR and only wanted to use this one, but it's range and intensity is disappointing. What to do. I'll post of pic of it illuminating my pickup in my driveway.
