I'm glad I found these led tape connectors as they make better connections than the old connectors I was using would. Plus they fit better in the aluminum channels. Great product!

These worked fine for me. I happened to already own a set of small screwdrivers so I used one of those. I agree with other reviews that say the included screwdriver might be tough to use. I'm writing this review to give you one hint.... Pushing the 8mm COB light strip into the connector is difficult, as the light strip is sort of spongy and it wants to pop back out. What I found worked REALLY well was to find a nice, square edge that I could push the connector up against and shove the COB light strip into it while I tighten the screws. This allowed me to hold it firmly in place until the screws were tightened. In my case, I was putting the light strips above and below kitchen cabinets, so I used a carving board shoved up against the tile backsplash on my kitchen counter. See photo below.

The connection screws are very difficult to turn which stripped out the provided screwdriver on the first go. Use a quality precision Phillips screwdriver, double zero size. Tightening the contacts on the LED strip side of the connector only serves to push the LED out of position so the connection is hit or miss. The wire contacts are no better, it feels very tight and then they may slip right out. Two of them cracked so far. Thumbs down.

Difficult to use

I like the fact that these connectors are transparent making the connection easier. Connectors remain trouble free and easy to use.

Power would not transfer through to the tape ( tested with multimeter.) I ended up adding a small thin strip of faraday tape to the contact points and was able to make these connectors functional. Without this, they were useless.

My go to LED strip light to wire connectors. Work best with solid core wire.
