XENOBLADE CHRONICLES: THE SECRET FILE - MONADO ARCHIVES (ARTBOOK VO JAPONAIS)

Even if you cannot read Japanese there is still enough info through the concept sketches to get a rough idea of what was going on during the game's development. I would highly recommend this for any in Japan. As for we who are outside of Japan well it is still a great art book.

Bought it as a gift to a friend. Its a pretty big book and has a lot of art in it. Its also all in japanese so if you cant read it you lose a lot of the insight written for each character. However, illustrations are well drawn and for someone who likes xenoblade and is also likes anime (like most xenoblade fans) it has really good novelty and a great gift. Came in good condition.

Anything Xenoblade related I will love. The language is in japanese, but the artbook is very pretty to look at. I recommend this to other die hard Xenoblade fans like me.

This book is amazing. Softcover, and with Japanese text of course. It's basically the Xenoblade equivalent to Xenogears Perfect Works, though it doesn't seem quite as packed full of info (but this is hard to say as I can not read any of it). The book has a foldout poster, official art of all the main characters, event & location art, early character sketches, some funny pics (like Fiora and Melia in bikinis or the party in tuxedos and dresses) but where the book really shines is the the mech designs. The designs themselves are so unique and unlike any other giant robots in any other series. The book goes into a lot of detail on the mechs, showing how they move, their propulsion systems, weapons and more. If you're a Xenoblade fan, don't hesitate, pick this up, it will amaze you. If you're worried about not being able to read it, don't worry, there's plenty of enjoyment in the art alone.

Book is amazing. Amazon, however, deemed it prudent to stick their inventory barcode right on the cover, so some very careful scraping was required.

Amazing artbook! If you are a huge fan of the game series, I recommend it 100%. Bought it as a Christmas gift, and it did not disappoint. The major problem with buying Japanese artbooks, untranslated, is that they usually have a lot of interviews and general text that, unless you can read and translate Japanese with ease, is pretty useless to most (That's one reason I was very disappointed with the Nier artbook, way too much text). What's nice is that this book, while it still has lots of interviews/text, it is filled with concept art, weapons art, backgrounds, etc. It's a very thick book, and is filled with lots of goodies.

Such an amazing book filled with information about the world of Xenoblade Chronicles! Such as: storyboards, concept art, interview quotes and so much more. Even if you don't understand Japanese words it's fine, just by looking at the artwork the fold-out poster and the amount of detail in this book you'd won't care. I had such a joy reading this book i'd highly recommend it to any hardcore Xenoblade fan or heck any book fan in general

As this is the first game in the Xenoblade series, there are some shortcomings compared to later series, but I enjoyed the game and bought it because I liked its unique background illustrations.
