Bought this as a gift and my grandad loved it. He had great fun building it. Like all Lego there good fun, easy to make and follow instructions, great quality and very detailed. It is expensive for what it is but all Lego is expensive and relative to the cost of bigger models it's worth the money.

Correctly titled as iconic, this Lego set was fun to build and looks so good you'll want to display it once built. It's straight forward and my 7 year comfortably did it on his own, I just helped with the stickers. It's large enough to capture the key details and small enough that it could be built in one session.

Este set tiene un diseño muy bien ejecutado y es un gran acierto de la empresa empezar esta serie de Lego Icons F1 con una de las figuras más admiradas por consenso de la Formula 1. El set se compone de 693 piezas distribuidas en 6 bolsas plásticas con todas las fases de construcción, muy bien ilustradas en el manual. Ya en la primera bolsa podemos montar la minifigura de Lego de Ayrton Senna y el pedestal para sujetarlo, personalmente me ha parecido un detalle muy bonito. El montaje no es nada complicado, fácil de seguir por las instrucciones y sin ninguna fase que pueda ser más compleja. El coche terminado tiene todas las características de los coches de los años 90, incluyendo el efecto suelo, los alerones y el motor en V, los neumáticos lisos, todo muy realista. Las medidas finales serán 32 cm de largo, 17 cm de ancho y unos 12 de altura total. El coche también posee su pedestal con una pequeña reseña con los datos técnicos. Me encanta también la elección de los siguientes pilotos, Nigel Mansell y Michael Schumacher, ahora solo espero que Lego vuelva atrás y haga modelos con las leyendas de Fitipaldi, Lauda, Piquet, etc… Simplemente fabuloso, para todos los públicos, para los más peques poder jugar con el coche, para los más jóvenes aprender sobre la historia de la F1 y para los que tuvimos el privilegio de verlo en vivo, recordar una de las etapas más competitivas y emocionantes de la mano del mejor piloto que aquella época pudo dar…
