The McDaddy of Ground Anchors used to ratchet up fallen tree
A 15 foot mature tree fell over in some high winds. I couldn’t lift it. I tried to ratchet it back up using other ground anchors but it pulled them clean out of the ground. Enter the 95cm Spyra ground anchor. There was no messing with this big boy. I applied the ratchet and straight back up the tree came. I had to clear some big stones in the ground first but this was way better than anything I found in the DIY stores.

Does the job
I got this to tether a caravan. I'm very happy with the stability it provides. I suppose the ultimate test will come over time. I used a big iron bar to screw it into the ground. You will need something similar. I managed it by myself, but it would be much easier with two people.

Sand screw
This appeared to work excellently. We screwed it into sand and were able to attach a pulley system to move a yacht around on a beach. Which was an improvement on asking 20 of our friends to come along and push it around.

Strong anchor
I have used it as anchor for my motorbike's chain. So far so good
