Daniplus - WaterJet MD15a, MD16, 3718, 3727, OC16.525 Oral Irrigator Handle with Hose

I purchased this because like several purchasers of the Braun Professional Care Center 3000 brushing system and dental water jet https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003RRY41Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 after 4 years the plastic feed tube perished and broke. Replacing this item is fairly straightforward although fiddly. I would say that if you are able to procure the tool needed to remove the screws from the case then you should be able to carry out this repair. Remove the brush and waterjet nozzle containers. Unclip the hinged lid and if need be, remove the retaining button and spring. Remove and retain the four screws in the rear of the case and one from the bottom. Unclip (prise off) the back from the front keeping the front downwards. At this point, take a photo of the inside just in case. The white plastic pipe is attached to a corrugated rubber tube by a white plastic ring. Prise the ring down the white plastic tube. Pull the tube from the jointing. Remove the tube completely and recover the white plastic ring. Thread the new pipe through the casing from the front. Put the white ring on the pipe and slide it back a couple of cms. Push the pipe onto the serrated spigot of the joining piece. Slide the white ring up the pipe over the pipe and spigot. Re-assembly is just a reverse of disassembly. If like me you are unfortunate enough to dislocate the pump and motor, you may find the little black top hat rubber mount falls out. It goes in the hole behind the motor assembly. Works perfectly and the pale blue finish makes a nice change!
