Cat enjoys it!
My cat loves these. Someone suggested them to me when I complained that she likes to chew on random metal things like scissors. I wish the sticks were a little longer—my cat has trouble holding them herself to chew on. But if I hold them she chews some but mostly wants me to rub the stick all over her face and body. She doesn’t roll around in catnip at all—just eats it. But this silvervine she wants to roll on. I might have to get some powdered form also. The package comes with a large number of sticks and a ziplock top. Great value. The sticks are varying thickness, from half as thin as a pencil to a bit fatter than one.

Our cats love them
Our cats love these silvervine sticks. They aren't very big, but seem to last well despite this. The cats roll on them, toss them, chew on them, and the fun never ends. We keep the package out of reach in the cabinet, rationing them out 3-4 at a time. (We currently are hosting 16 cats from kittens to adults, so there are a lot of different personalities involved.) Even the cats that could not care less about catnip enjoy these. In addition to their direct enjoyment, they constantly deliver amusement to us as they play with or roll on or chew on the sticks. Some of the cats even carry them around like it's a treasured trophy!

Kitten not interested, but my one year old cat likes it
I bought these for our new kitten to teeth on, because he likes to chew on the corner of wood furniture, and also on the end of his play toy wand. I thought this was going to be a perfect solution, but he really was just not interested in them at all. I did get him to chew on one for about half a minute when I held it, but no more than that. I've never used them before, so I don't know if the sticks are old & no smell or taste, or if my cat is not of the norm. Update: my kitten is now a one year old & over time these sticks grew on him. He still didn’t chew on it much though. What he liked about it is that it’s like a pen. I can thrown one down to him & he bats it around. He likes to push my pen off my table a lot when I am working, so now I just give him & stick to play with instead & he leaves my pen alone.I wish there were a smaller package though, because I definitely don’t need quite so many. I changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars, since my cat ended up liking it after all. I did not make it 5 stars, but the kitten version of him didn’t care for it much.

Hit and miss
These seem like a good idea to get your cat to chew on something other than the Christmas tree. At least that’s why we looked into them. One of our three cats in particular seemed to need something to chew on and would always target our Christmas tree. We bought these in hopes it would give him what he needs. He definitely doesn’t seem as interested in these as he does the tree but he will chew on them a bit. Usually requiring someone in the family to hold it for him, play with him with it or something to get him started on it. He’ll then chew on it and play with it for a few minutes. He rarely will initiate it on his own though. Another one of cats will chew them to pieces and will seek them out and knock them about if they’re on the floor. Our third cat is much like the first and will only chew on it if we play with him with it. I’m not sure if they just don’t like holding it or what but it would be nice to have a small apparatus that would hold several in place and allow the cat to chew on it without having hold it with its paws, much like the tree. Overall our cats do like them in varying degrees, although I’m not sure they like them enough for us to make another purchase of these. Will likely look for another alternative. No complaints on the product itself, our cats for the most part just don’t seem interested enough to do they work themselves.

Cat approval
My cats seem to like them. Play, naw , chase or just lay on them. The big one is my older cat and the other 2 smaller are one I brought in from living outside. All of them like this product

Cat behavior
We all love to giggle when the kitties get "high" on catnip, which mine really doesn't care for it at all but absolutely goes crazy over these sticks. Now. When I say crazy I mean crazy. He does silly stuff but at the same time he also turns extremely feral and violent when he has any sort of access to this. I've had to throw them away because it was like we gave him 1 and that afternoon he decided to bite and scratch (maul is more of the word) us, wouldn't let us pet him or anything and he is usually extremely cuddly. This lasted for 3 days and we were freaking out wondering what happened to our sweet baby when we realized he only started acting this way after getting one of these. The next day he was completely back to normal.

Cats are weird
I have two cats. Both of them like different things but when it comes to these sticks they get all wide eyed and crazy. They more so chew off the bark and then the bare stick is left ignored. Funny to watch them. Maybe they’ll stay out of my houseplants if these are laying around!!

Cat Loves Them!
We just rescued our first cat and it has been difficult finding things the cat likes. The cat immediately loved this! It was such a relief we finally found something the cat likes!
