Large 3-Tier Indoor Hydroponics System Kit with Grow Lights, Double Water Pump Indoor Garden, and 72 Large Pods for Vegetables Herbs Microgreens

This was my second unit, bought after having my Gardyn for a few weeks. This was half the price and holds more than twice the number of plants. The pots are generously sized - 3" which allows for larger plants, as well. This is a 'deep flow' method, where pumps constantly circulate your nute solution to the top trays which overflow to the lower ones. It sounds like a fountain. Because of the open tables, you can also grow pants with bigger root systems because you're not restricted to the pods (roots should still be kept under control to prevent clogging the overflow drains). It includes pretty much everything you need plus extra parts. It even had an extra grow light, a pair of plastic tweezers, and a roll of plumbers tape to secure any loose drain pipes. I've grown pretty fond of LECA as a growing medium which also allows for more versatile planting. No more cutting rockwool. This comes with multiple bags of LECA so I will be experimenting with some DIY Kratky setups with the extra. And it's reusable, which is pretty awesome. Some drawbacks that should be mentioned: this has no training wheels. That's what the Gardyn was for. This should probably not be a first unit. Also, setup was a bitch. The plumbing and wiring part was easy. But assembling the trays and the poles the right way was not. The parts are not labeled, so it's easy to screw up, and those mistakes can be infuriating to fix. All in all, I love this rig and I'm having fun experimenting with different seeds and germination techniques. It's by far the biggest bang for your buck and probably the most versatile all-in one system I've found.

Setting up the system was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and all necessary parts were included. The double water pump system is a great feature, ensuring consistent water flow and distribution. The build quality is solid. The materials feel durable and well-made. The 72 large pods offer ample space for growing a variety of plants, and the overall design is sleek and modern, fitting well in my indoor space. The integrated lighting system is impressive. It's adjustable, allowing for optimal light exposure as the plants grow. The lights are bright and provide the necessary spectrum for plant growth. The double water pump system is efficient and keeps the water well-aerated. It runs quietly, which is a bonus for an indoor setup. The pumps ensure that all plants receive adequate water. I've successfully grown a variety of vegetables, herbs, and microgreens with this system. The large pods accommodate bigger plants, which is great for a more diverse garden. Maintenance is minimal. The system is easy to clean and refill. The built-in indicators help keep track of water levels and nutrient needs, making it user-friendly even for those new to hydroponics. Overall, it is a fantastic indoor gardening set up. It’s efficient, easy to use, and I have excellent results. UPDATE: After the seller sent along some new PVC tubing, a tool to cut the tubes to custom size, and additional stoppers, I was able to re-assemble the system to eliminate all leaks. One pump needed to be replaced at that point, but thankfully an extra was included. I still would like to see caps for unused ports and an option to extend the height of the lights for the top level of boxes. I just use aluminum foil to cover unused ports to prevent almost all algae growth. Original review: I've owned and used this hydroponics system for about a month. Most of the vegetables I've planted have been doing well. I've already harvested quite a bit of lettuce. The bottom boxes do have a problem with leakage. The packaging did not contain enough stoppers to cover all the small holes throughout the system, and water finds its way through the spaces between plastic parts. In general, the tubes don't seem to fit well and vertical movement is possible. Even though water is constantly flowing, algae develop. There are ways to reduce this chemically, but it would also be helpful if the product included caps for any unused ports. The product should offer an optional extension for the height of the top level. Seems like an easy design modification that should have been considered.

Cheaply made. Instructions aren't clear. Parts missing, Amazon has no way of securing the replacement parts. One of the water pumps went out after a week of operation. Followed directions closely. Out of the first 12 pods, only 3 actually grew.

Bought two and returned both. Only assembly instructions- absolutely no directions on how to use it. They had zero support so don't bother trying. Would have loved it to work. Buying a gardyn - looks much easier to use...

Bought this for Christmas my husband. Following the directions it came with he put it together in about 2 hrs and said it was not hard to do. All parts were included and work properly. It’s very sturdy and stays in place. The over all size is exactly as described. The only thing we have had an issue with is the water level gauge as it doesn’t seem to have a place or hole for it to sit into. It’s not really a problem though as we just lift the bottom tier corner baskets (when the water pump is running) from time to time to check the water level. The lights work great and all the baskets, rocks, and clear cups were included as well. The noise level of the pump was a little loud at first but quieted down within the first week. * 1st photo taken Dec 27 when he planted the first top tier seeds and had sprouts appear by Jan 7th! * The rest of the photos were taken Jan. 26! We harvested some of the lettuce for our dinner salad after I took the last photo! We love it!!

Im absolutely in love with the clay pellets used in this system—they’re reusable, super easy to manage, and so much cleaner than traditional soil. No mess at all! The size of the unit is generous enough for me to grow plenty of vegetables and herbs. The grow lights are adjustable to fit different plant heights, and I especially love the smart outlet that lets me set the lighting schedule automatically. Once it’s set, I don’t have to worry about turning the lights on or off. This system is well-designed and super convenient. It’s been a game changer for my indoor gardening!
