I have been wanting an unbreakable flosser for years, now here it is!
This stainless steel flosser, on the right, is roughly a copy of the flosser type I have been using for years, pictured on left, with two differences; it is a tad smaller which is not a big deal, and it is unbreakable, which IS a big deal. The plastic one, brand name Flossaid, is an excellent tool and is the only reason I floss daily, because I refuse to put my several fingers in my mouth to floss, daily, using the floss and fingers method. Way too unhygenic. And the little plastic disposable ones are too small, I still need to put fingers in mouth to reach back teeth, too flimsy, and too wasteful. Disposable means wasteful. The big drawback to the Flossaid and similar products is they always break after a few months of use. One tine always breaks off near the handle. So they need to be replaced frequently. This cost adds up $$$. I just did a first use of the metal one and it feels like using the plastic Flossaid, just a tad smaller and heavier. The major point here, to me, is that the steel one will never break! I am very happy to have found this product. Tip: Wrap 10 or 20 yards of floss tightly around the handle. When you need to reload the fork to floss again just unwrap a few inches and put it across the tines. Each reload will be much faster than and less fumbling than reaching for the floss box. Waxed floss stays in place on the handle much better than unwaxed floss. Dentist joke: "Only floss the ones you want to keep!"

Sturdy but too hard to string
Very hard to string floss. Nice idea though.

Wonderful Product, Could be Improved but I am Happy Nonetheless
I love this tool so much. Flossing normally (sticking my fingers in my mouth and getting the gunk, spit, etc on my fingers) is really difficult for me because of the overwhelming textures. I am so happy there is a tool that isn't just a single use throw away, this is exactly what I needed and it works spectacularly well. Cons: -The wheel screw is a bit short, it's trying to be flush on the other side but if you screw out too far it will fall out/off and that is a little scary if over a sink with an open drain. -I also wish the wheel was a bit wider and again not trying to be flush on the sides, it makes it a little hard to turn it and becomes almost completely inaccessible with wet fingers. The grooves for the wheel could be deeper and spaced a bit more, the wheel needs to be larger, and the screw needs to be longer with something to hold it on the other side so it doesn't fall apart so easily while still able to dissemble to clean it. Still, I love this product, the two flosses that came with it were a nice touch, not needed in my opinion with just how much floss I have saved up from all my dental visits, but it was interesting. The black floss was thinner and would be good for people with teeth that are very close together. The white floss is more fiber-y and bigger which is just generally okay. The packaging was wonderfully eco friendly as well. The overall experience for day 1 made me feel very justified in a very easy, very cheap purchase. I'm definitely going to recommend my dentist look into this for other patients that struggle with texture issues like me.

The design can be improved
I've used the plastic floss holder for years. They work well, but they breaks. This stainless steel floss holder looks to be sturdier. But it has a couple of issues. One is it came with the width between the end of the tongs was too narrow. It was hardly wider than the width of my molars. Being metal, I was able to pull the tongs out to make it about 0.5cm wider. I think the inside width between the tongs should be about 23-25mm. Second issue is that the handle is too narrow in the middle. It looks nice, but not functional. It should not taper in like that. It can twist in your hand easily when you try to press the floss down between the teeth.

Great durable option for reusable flossers!
Not for beginners, but I love it nonetheless! I have been a reusable flosser user for a few years now, but I had a plastic V-shaped flosser (they're great, too!). Plastic ones are fine, but the dental floss will eventually saw through the plastic posts so I wanted something more permanent. This one is a nice size and I actually really like the handle vs my plastic one! The metal is very smooth so no sharp edges at all from what I experienced. My advice would be to sit down and take your time flossing because you are dealing with a metal thing in your mouth and that could definitely lead to some potential accidents if you're not careful even though the edges are smooth. 10/10 overall, no complaints over mounting the floss, it grips it really well and I don't find that I lose tension while flossing which means the metal knob does hold the floss in place really well!

Durable but poor design
Heavy, bulky, difficult to use. Sharp edges/hooks to hold the floss. Was hoping this would cut down on floss use but I end up using even more than previously due to the need to wrap so much of it. Floss doesn't stay within the holds well. Can't adjust the floss within the holder. Twist doesn't work well. Tool itself is solid and durable but the overall design is over sized and difficult to maneuver. Unfortunately I'm outside the return date, but I will not be using this. Definitely should have checked reviews before purchasing.

Best flosser around!
I have looked literally for years for this tool. I have a similar 20YO plastic model (no longer made) that's broken and unusable. I have searched Amazon and other sites and found nothing similar, just the cheap plastic throwaways we see discarded everywhere. I hate those tiny things and can't use them. Recently I got lucky and this popped up on Amazon, I couldn't believe my eyes. And stainless steel, no less! It just arrived today, and I couldn't wait to try it. This tool is wonderful for we who have smaller mouths and tight teeth. I like it so much, I am going to order a few extra to give to friends. No more plastic flossers for me! Unlike other reviewers, I did not find any excessively sharp edges, nothing to touch up with a jeweler's file. Of course, one has to be careful sticking a small, sharp metal tool inside their mouth. Used with ordinary care, I see no worries that way. In the picture I use Glide Pro Health floss, which my dentist recommends. Also I tie a tight loop into the end of the floss to slip over the screw (left side) and secure the right side with about 3 turns, then tighten the screw firmly. I've just always done it that way, less to come loose, and it works very well on this one too. I am going to show this tool to my dentist in case he's not seen it. Thank you, Amazon!

Does not work very well
The metal edges need to be rounded down. They hurt when they hit your inside gums. The screw used to tighten the floss pops off a lot. Hard to keep the floss tight. The floss loosens up as soon as you start using it.

Recommended Buy
Excellent A little bit awkward at first but perseverance and time has helped - I would buy again (but I don’t expect I will need too) Much more environmentally friendly than most toothpicks

Not recommended
This would be a good product if there was a way to thread the floss through the top of the pick’s arms instead of just an open sided holder for it. When I pull the floss out from between my teeth it comes out of the holder and needs to be rethreaded, which is tedious for every tooth.
