LIQUI MOLY DOT 4 Brake Fluid, 1 Liter (Pack of 1)

Great value for DOT 4 brake fluid, and super convenient to be able to get it delivered through Prime the next day versus ordering through a car parts shop. Liqui Moly products are all great quality, so for a DOT 4 fluid this fits all my needs.

I used this Liqui Moly DOT 4 fluid for a brake flush, and the difference in pedal feel was noticeable. After bleeding the lines, the pedal became firmer and more consistent, especially under repeated braking. Liqui Moly has a good reputation for quality fluids, and this product fits that pattern. The one liter bottle is a convenient size. It is enough for a full flush on most passenger vehicles with a bit left over, but not so large that you are storing extra fluid for years. The cap seals tightly and the label clearly shows DOT rating and specs. As with all brake fluid, careful handling is important because it can damage paint. Using a small funnel and some shop towels, the job went smoothly. For anyone who likes to keep their braking system fresh, this is a solid DOT 4 choice.

This is my go-to DOT 4 brake fluid, and I’ve been using it on my 25-year-old BMW for years. I recently performed a full brake fluid flush and bleed, and this fluid really brought my braking power back to what it felt like when the car was new. Of course, changing the pads and rotors at the same time helped, but the brake fluid itself made a noticeable difference. Since my BMW uses the same reservoir for the clutch, I was also able to bleed the clutch with this fluid, which resulted in smoother shifting. Reliable, high-quality brake fluid that I’ll continue to use.

I have a 2024 Acura MDX A-spec. Got it brand new and from day one the brakes felt too soft. My RDX felt nice a tight but not the MDX. When I got to 25k miles on MDX I decided to flush out the brake fluid. I replaced the old fluid with the LiquiMoly Dot 4 and damn what a difference!!! Tje brake pedal is nice and tight and the brakes now feel just as good as the 2025 RDX. I very happy with the results. I highly recommend this product,,, I also use the Liqui Moly motor oil. Perfection !!!

El líquido se veía limpio y fue fácil de utilizar durante el purgado del sistema. Después del cambio, los frenos mantuvieron una sensación firme y consistente. El envase de 1 litro rinde bastante y puede alcanzar para más de un servicio dependiendo del vehículo. No puedo hablar de la durabilidad a muy largo plazo porque eso requiere años de uso, pero hasta ahora ha cumplido con lo esperado y volvería a comprarlo cuando toque hacer mantenimiento nuevamente.

What is there to say? Liqui Moly is always top shelf!

I really think any DOT 4 would be fine. Bought this brand because it’s the brand I always use in my BMW motorcycle oil. German, which means high quality and high priced.
