The drive was very easy to install and works great. It’s very quiet which is good because I didn’t want my laptop making a lot of noise. I would recommend getting it to fix your device

I know nothing about computer hardware, but my laptop had slowed to a crawl. I combed the internet for videos on how to upgrade to an SSD, and was able clone my hard drive and install the new one. One warning: I had to try two or three supposedly free cloning programs before finding one that worked. Otherwise, it would cost another $40 or so to buy cloning software.

I upgraded our laptop from a 5400rpm HDD to this SDD, and it works great. My computer works much better with this SSD hard drive due to the improvement in speed.

Great product. Had to buy this due to motherboard having specific requirements for certain NVME drives. Motherboard is an ASRock B450M mini-ATX. The HP M.2 that I originally bought was not compatible with mobo. Consulted ASRock's website and found a list of compatible drives. Chose Samsung because of reputation and Amazon's pricing was better than Newegg's (they still charge S&H to APO addresses!) Paid almost double the price from the HP brand, but knew I'd get a quality product. (Was going with Tom's Hardware recommendation for HP's M.2 SSD) NOTE: Samsung's package does not have an extra screw to attach to mobo....ensure you have an extra one from your mobo packaging. Good on ASRock to provide extra screws.

Arrived very fast in a smaller box than expected. Plugged it in and it started doing the job from day 1. Very pleased.

picked up the 500gb unit to use as a boot disk and to run a few programs/games off of. Works fantastic, full boot time is 15 seconds and software like photoshop, which used to take forever to open, opens extremely fast. Definitely recommend

i bought this SSD for my laptop that i use for work so no bad or hard usage just light work on it, only lasted 2 years called HP And nobody was able to help kept on transferring me from sales dept to technical support and nobody seem to know what they were doing, and just gave me the run around and were not able to get any help .

Cloning was a breeze using the Macrium cloning software I had previously. Works as well as the Samsung 850 Evo I put in an identical machine having Sata II internal bus. Somewhat slower with Sata to USB 3.0 Lantec case adapter.

After a lot of research i zeroed in onto this product and its worth it. The manual helped me a lot to fix it inside my Mac mini. It gives high performance along with durability. Good storage capacity. I would recommend to but this product.

Excellent product huge speed change For my my laptop a 300% increase in speed it takes less than 10 seconds to boot up and 5 second to shut down. Amazing difference between normal and SSD

Best product from hp cheaper than the competition

I replaced my hard drive with it in my iMac late 2012 Catalina, and now it boots up in less than 10 secs!

The SSD is performing at its best. The laptop has become very fast after installing this.
