Sourcing4U Limited 10w LED Floodlight in Black, with PIR (Cool White), Metal, 10 W [Energy Class A+]

Very good value for money. I wasn't requiring a very bright light but this is quite a good light even though it is rated not too powerful. I believe it equivalent to 150w light bulb. So more than happy with area it illuminates. As I noted with previous comments it comes with a short lead. I thought it would be straight forward to open up the light, disconnect the wire it came with and connect my wire that was already in place from a previous light. However, upon opening the cover, I found the wiring going straight into the components with out a junction box with in the light. The cover that contains the housing wasn't big enough for me to put a junction box in (after cutting the wires ). What I did was to cut the wires and solder my existing wires to these and use shrink rap to insulate them from each other. This gave me enough room to replace the cover and allow the cover to close properly and remain waterproof. The other option would have either put a waterproof socket close the the light and put a plug on the wire that was supplied or as others had done, buy a waterproof junction box. A bit of a fiddle, but for the price I didn't mind.

This is quite small. Just about lights up my garden but actually this is a positive as when the trees blow and it turns on it's not going to annoy the neighbours. Can't rare weather proofing yet, I would suggest though that having sensitivity dials facing up on the top is a bad idea. You can't mount them facing down if you want the light angled down.

The first one arrived with the PIR post broken off, even though the packing was undamaged. Amazon replaced it immediately, and I got another one the next day, so top marks for service.The lamp itself seems OK, and well made. The leaflet inside says it should come with 0.5m of cable, but it doesn't. The cable is annoyingly short, at about 20 cm, making it difficult to position where I wanted it, and making it necessary for me to buy a weatherproof junction box.The other thing to watch out for is that because the arms of the bracket are quite short, the amount by which you can tilt the lamp downwards is quite limited, as the PIR post hits the wall. This problem becomes more important the higher up it is mounted.

This is a nice little floodlight and pretty bright considering it's only a 10w LED.I only have two complaints though, firstly the PIR detector is far too large compared to the actual light. Secondly the light comes with a integrated power cable which is far too short, (about 20cm), this means you'll either need to buy an outdoor junction box or weatherproof connector plug in order to wire it in.

Great value little lights but require sealant around all places that let water into the sensor. Shiny silver areas on bolts and screws rust .Sensor works well and at distance.

Not much room to angle the light Almost impossible. The sensor sticks out the bottom rear of the unit and is tight to the wall making it hard to angle down.Good price, nice light. Just a shame the bracket to the wall is not deeper allowing more tilt

The only issues I have with the item I received, were that there were no instructions so I needed to guess the settings on the dials.And it doesn't point very far downwards - the back of the PIR hits the wall so you only get a few degrees slant down. I'm going to have to mount a piece of wood or something behind it to get the angle I really want.Other than that - very white, very bright and good at what it does.

I like the light, works really well, and not too bright for the patio. It would be better for the electrical connections to be made within the light, so shielded from the weather. The light has a short wire coming outside the weatherproof component box, to which the connections must be made and waterproofed.
