CRKT Padawan Everyday Carry Folding Knife: Drop Point with 14C28N Steel Blade, Stainless Steel Handle w/Micarta Overlays, Frame Lock, 6070

I can't speak for uber expensive knives, but for the price point here you will be hard pressed to find better. I read someone else say it almost feels wrong getting this thing dirty with everyday wear and tear, I agree. This is a beautiful, we'll crafted piece of equipment that will absolutely meet most peoples need for everyday use. Just for reference, I'm an electrician and I often need to cut ropes, strip wire, open boxes and I can definitely say this knife does everything I need it to do. It looks great and performs perfectly for my needs so I decided to leave my opinion.

I couldnt wait to get this knife when I saw it. I love the blade, I prefer no serrated edges, the curve is nice for slicing, of course it cane with a razor sharp edge. I normally don't like the clips I found that this one fits good to my grip and isn't too bulky. The shape of the handle fits my hand perfectly. The overall size of the knife is good too. It's not as big or heavy as some of my other knifes, but still has a substantial blade. The flipper doesn't stick out too far so it's less bulky, but it takes a little more effort to open compared to some other knives. Once you start the opening motion is opens very smoothly.

The knife finally arrived! It's aesthetically pleasing, very clean lines, well put together. Love the brown micarta scales. The flipper design works well. The framelock works nice, the lockup is solid, no sticking. The blade shape is versatile and useful for many cutting tasks. While not what I consider a hard use type of knife, it works for light to medium cutting tasks. Occasional hard use it would probably handle given it's size, though I have other knives more suited to that type of work. This knife is definitely suited for urban carry or when you want to carry light.

Like the blade weight and opening operation. Uses on this blade type are more kitchen oriented than utility but it works. Sharp and easy to sharpen. Carries well... ... The micarta did get ashey and needed a little mineral oil.

High quality knife!

This knife is excellent! Super sharp, beautiful blade shape, top of the blade on the back side is beautifully rounded and polished, the clip holds the knife securely in my pocket. Handle is slightly skinny but I don’t mind it at all because in return the knife is much lighter. This is simply a great edc blade that’s small and light in your pocket. Unfortunately I had to return my first one because the lock was a little loose but the new one has zero issues.

Best CRKT I own. Really solid - a bit heavy but not bad. Sharp, floppy, well locked but not finger compromising, great looking and nicely slicy.

I came across this and had to have it. From the design to knife name I was drawn to it. Everything I have purchased from CRKT has been durable and long lasting. This one is really to nice to use every day and I only take it out when I dress for nicer functions. Glad I purchased it. It's certainly a little pricey but worth it.
