For the price, I really love this clock. I just wanted a simple, easy-to-read, modern looking clock that was built reasonably well. This one surprassed my expectations. Considering it isn't expensive, I was expecting some cheap flimsy thing, but it is not like that at all. It's definitely no high end wall clock, but it looks nice and feels sturdy. And it does not tick. The second hand is actually smooth, so there's no tick-tick-ticking. If you're looking at this clock and want to get it because of what it looks like, but aren't sure if it's actually decent quality, don't hesitate. Buy it. It's worth it. UrbanWare also makes a black clock that is a 10" clock with the same non-ticking mechanism for a few bucks cheaper than this one, if you're looking for an even cheaper one. I liked the design of this one more, but I'm guessing the other one is the same good quality.

Perfect for the 'office' room in our house. Virtually silent, sweep second hand that we wanted. Just the right touch of industrial look with big numbers . It's been working flawlessly since we popped the battery in the back and hung it up. Good value for the $$.

Had the clock for 1 month. Looked good and could see it easily from pool. Mounted under eaves out of rain. After 1 month it no longer kept correct time. Paper backing (with the numbers) had become partially detached from its backing. Hands have trouble getting past the puffed out section so time is always wrong.

I am very pleased with this clock! I bought it for my school special education classroom - nice and clear numbers, no sound, and the glass face is just what I needed to teach the sweep of time by writing with dry erase markers on the face. The only reason for not marking 5 stars is that I had expected that the outer metal border would be magnetic. Wanted to put magnet markers around the edges for my students. I will do without, since I like everything else about the clock!

Brought it because it stated Glass cover. It is plastic cover not glass

I ordered this wall clock several years ago and still is working very well at my garage in spite of the hot temperature (115 F high in summer time in Arizona) and it is very good looking. So that I ordered this clock for the second time for my patio. I opened up the box this morning, and tried to adjust the time, the hour hand of clock was not working. I was not happy about it, but the reason I am giving this clock five stars, there are sometimes, once in a while mistakes will be happened.

Stops working within about a week - the sweeping hand also seems to get stuck on the second hand. Poor quality.

Delivery was fast, product exactly as pictures and it's a sturdy shiny clock with bold numbers and appears to keep time really well. I've had it about 10 days and rely on it for meetings so I keep comparing it to my cell phone's display time. Silent second hand is GREAT.
