Are you using a Relay??
Small and perfect for the job.. I used this switch to trigger a 12v relay that operates my air horns..! It is a great button switch for actuating a relay. Also very well made.

Great switch for kill switches! Only one problem...
Using these as a killswich.. one for my guitar and one for my mini bike - I love these, they are high quality and easy to install, nice long wires. One thing I would change - the length of tr wire hookup on the bottom of the switch is very long, so you have to have lots of depth in whatever you're installing this in.. I would shorten these personally. Great product!
