My dog likes it in his water and I do think it helps keep his breath fresh.

One of our dogs are old with medical issues, and needs to go to a specialist in order to get his dental cleanings. This was recommended to us by that veterinarian. We use it for both of our dogs (old and young), and their breath got so, so much better. The plaque basically just falls off. They don't detect it in their water either, which is great for picky eaters. It's much easier than teeth brushing, which is a challenge with our dogs. Keep in mind that it does not replace annual dental cleanings.

While it is to soon to tell if this will help with Scruffy’s tartar it definitely has helped his breath. We have only been using it about a week. I mix a 16 oz bottle and use it on his dry kibble as he will not readily drink the water so I am pretty sure he either can taste or smell it

No smell and easy to use. My dog drank the water with the water additive without hesitation. So I’m assuming there was no taste. I only used half the suggested amount as I wanted to make sure my dog would tolerate it. HOWEVER, within a few hours of drinking the water with the additive, she threw up her entire breakfast. So I immediately dumped the water either and additive, washed her bowl thoroughly and only have her filtered water. Sir still threw up 3 more times in the span of 10 hours! So that’s a total of 4 hours. My dog has never had a reaction to any water additives before so this was very alarming. I took her to the ER and brought the bottle off the water additive with me to show the vet. The vet told me it’s super common for these water additives to upset the dogs stomach lining and make them vomit and they told me to avoid water additives. Thankfully by the next day my dog was fine but had to be on a bland diet for 3-4 days to be gentle as her stomach lining had gotten disrupted by this water additive. This item is not worth it for us. Be careful!!!

My dog drinks her water just fine. Will be getting having a dental check soon to see how it works for her tarter and build up.

It's so easy to add to dog's water bowl. I've only used it for 10 days so far, buy my dogs breath does seem improved. Hope it also works to eliminate plaque. Now, as a follow up 3 wks.in, my dogs are developing stomach upsets when nothing else has changed in their day to day patterns.
