Works exactly as known. Reusable too if you don't use all the fuel in the can. Great for the cost. Was able to use on fondue pots.

I only gave one star for easy to clean because these are single use only items, you would not clean them. I suppose you could try only partially using the gel agent, and then reattached the lid, but I don't think that is a good idea. In fact, if I have one criticism, it's that the lids are a very tight fit (for good reason) and prying them off ends up distorting the top of the can. This makes it virtually impossible to reseal/use it if you wanted to, or if you open one by mistake and want to save it. Bottom line, good value for money and work very well, they keep the water in the bottom of the chafing dish very hot. I will repurchase when I've used the six in the box.

Work as promised. If you have this Sterno and a Sterno stove you can heat water good enough to make instant coffee.

Item as advertised. Seller was slow in getting shipment off and item arrived a few days after the advertised approximate delivery time. Also found out later item was overpriced. But that was my bad for not shopping better.
