Tree Root Growing Box

Excellent product for air layering! The large size is perfect for thicker branches and provides plenty of room for root growth. Very sturdy and easy to use—I’ve already seen healthy roots forming in just a few weeks. A must-have for anyone into plant propagation!

These are soooo much better than the other types I've used!! The medium are really big compared to other brands, almost too big but I tried mixing soil and moss this time and there was plenty of room. The drainage holes are nice to have, I have put holes in my other type before so I didn't have to worry about rot but these are at the bottom and work really well keeping the mix wet but not soaked. I love the black and clear sides so you can see the root growth but can have the black side towards the grow light to encourage better root growth. Easy to use and hold together very well. I'll come back after I see some roots and update if necessary but these are going to be my go to products for air layering from now on! Highly Recommend!! Great in theory! You have to ensure the soil stays very moist which is way more than I realized needed to be done. I attempted to propagate an umbrella magnolia and it didn’t work but it worked perfectly propagating hydrangeas. They are quite sturdy. It is a bit difficult to put dirt in both sides and then put the two sides together without spilling everything! They are definitely worth giving them a try!

I purchased this 9-piece root box set and so far, I’m very pleased with the experience. The packaging was excellent—everything arrived intact and neatly organized. The root boxes themselves seem very well made, with sturdy materials that look like they'll hold up well over time. One thing I really appreciated was the clear and detailed instructions included in the package. They made setup super easy, even for someone relatively new to plant propagation. Everything clicked together smoothly, and they even included the wire ties! Since root development takes about a month or two, I can't speak to the final results just yet. But based on the quality and ease of use, I’m optimistic. I’ll definitely update this review once I see how well the roots develop!

These look amazing. However they don't give enough info to use them and they are not so easy to apply. I highly suggest you not bother woth the wire ties they send. Just ho ahead and get a handful of baby zip ties. Makes life much easier using these things

Puurchased these to creat new trees from small branches. They did a great job at keeping the humitity for a long time. Love that they come in a kit.The size is perfect and they really came out super helpful for what I needed them.

Well made easy to use. I have them on blueberries now. We'll see how well this method of propagating works.

According to Texas A&M University, Mustang grapes are extremely hard to root. They suggested that I try air rooting. These dis the trick! I use a little rooting hormone and watered them with a good liquid growth stimulator and all of them have plenty produced roots and are ready to transplant.
