Il chauffe peu mรชme s'il est ร moins de dix centimรจtre de la carte vidรฉo.

I ordered the 'Silicon Power 2TB UD90 NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 SSD R/W' because I needed an NVMe drive to try out in the 'UGREEN M.2 NVMe Enclosure Adapter, 10Gbps USB C 3.2 Gen2, Tool-Free Portable Aluminum External Reader for M and M&B Key' that I had ordered month or so ago. I wanted something a little smaller physically for an external data storage project, and with more and more computers and laptops using NVMe these days it seemed to make sense. I use three brands of storage media, and over the years I have often used Silicon Power mechanical hard drives. I had never purchased a Silicon Power SSD, so I decided to try it out, based on many years use of, and not a single failure of, Silicon Power Hard Drives, and because of the excellent price compared with the other nearest spec NVMe drives. I should add that my computers are all Linux systems. My main system sometimes is not happy detecting external drives. However, I slid this Silicon Power UD90 NVMe into the UGREEN Adapter case and plugged the cable into a USB 3 socket. The Linux system saw it immediately and offered to mount it. This Silicon Power NVMe drive is working well and is excellent as an external USB drive. Data transfer rates seem pretty consistent for good quality SSDs, and I suspect if I had it placed in a proper M.2 port rather than running on USB 3, the thing would fly! It has no problem transferring video files of several GB size from my camera's card. Write speeds are obviously not realistic because they are bottlenecked by running through USB, althought they certainly don;t seem slow. I don;t do benchmarks - I rely on 'what I see happening'. Read speeds and saves from editing videos are excellent. As it is, I will probably look for a 2TB or 4TB Silicon Power NVMe drive to use as the main drive in any of my systems next time I need to update. Based on my rather limited (time) experience so far I reckon this NVMe is good value and I'll probably buy another shortly if the price stays similar.

I am a huge fan of SP memory and memory products. I have been buying a lot from them recently. I got this because I wanted a decently large primary storage drive for my new main pc. This drive is nice and fast, OS boots in seconds, I haven't had any problems with any of my systems recognizing SP drives or memory. Installation was a snap, and performance was as advertised. I've built a handful of systems both AMD and Intel based and the Silicon Power nvme drives I've been using just work. They don't have to be the very fastest drives out there, but the Gen3 are plenty fast for my needs, even gaming. These are fantastic options that don't cost a ton.
