These are great mics! Their battery lasts for very long hours. Sound is very neat and clear. Enough amount of features and functions for me (I am semi-professional at video creation). They also charge very fast and look of very high quality. I just only wished the magnetic was stronger, but other than that, these are incredibly good for the price.

This set of mics is one of my favorite tech purchases in a long time and I use the hell out of it. I use them daily for three different situations: 1. Work calls on my laptop. These mics especially shine in busy places like loud coffee shops. The noise cancelling is very good without hurting the audio quality, and the audio is far better than the built-in mics on my laptop or webcam. 2. Video recording on my iphone (in my case for social media content.) The audio quality is excellent and really boosts the quality of my videos. 3. Any call or recording situation that benefits from two separate mics, e.g. two people sitting next to each other on a zoom call, a podcast, or a phone video. Since the kit has two wireless mics that connect to the hub, it's so easy to give the second mic to a colleague or cohost. Battery life is great. The battery for each mic lasts several hours of constant use. I've only run it out once in a day of 8+ hours of calls, and I tossed it back in the charging case and grabbed the second mic. Took me 5 seconds to be up and running again since the second mic was already connected wirelessly to the hub. The charging case battery is also great - even when using a mic several hours per day, I only have to recharge the case once every couple weeks or so. Portability is excellent. The charging case is the roughly size of a thick bar of soap and fits into my backpack easily. It also feels durable and well-made. It's not a negative, but the only note I have is that when I use these mics in a noisy environment with the noise cancelling turned on, I don't clip them onto my shirt because the audio quality isn't able to be as good. I choose to hold it in my hand and talk directly into it. I might look a little funny (like an Instagram influencer,) but the sound quality is so good and professional that I don't care. 10/10

I’ve been generally impressed with the Neewer CM28 system, particularly from a hardware and engineering standpoint. Audio quality is good for its class, the internal backup recording is a genuinely useful feature, and overall the system feels well-designed for real-world use. That said, there were two areas that initially caused concern — both of which turned out to be more about presentation than actual design flaws. First, the unit arrived with no LEDs illuminated on the charging case, which can be unsettling if you have experience handling lithium-ion batteries. Lithium cells do have a lower voltage threshold below which charging circuits may refuse to initiate or cells can be damaged, so many companies ship at 30–50% state of charge. After using the product, it’s clear this was not a true “dead battery” situation. The LED indicators appear to be intentionally conservative and non-linear — no LEDs likely still represents a safe reserve above the battery protection cutoff. In practice, the system charged normally and has behaved exactly as it should. Still, from a professional hardware credibility standpoint, shipping with no visible charge indication looks sloppy, even if it isn’t technically wrong. Second, the documentation repeatedly refers to a “Function” button, while the actual hardware labels that same button as “SET.” This isn’t a functional issue, but it does create unnecessary confusion during initial setup. Once you realize that “Function” in the manual simply means the SET button on the device, everything works as described. This feels like a classic documentation handoff issue rather than a product design problem. In short: ✔ The engineering decisions make sense ✔ Battery management appears well thought out ✔ Audio and feature set deliver real value ⚠ Documentation and labeling could be tighter Overall, this is a well-designed product that would benefit from clearer documentation, not a redesign. If you’re comfortable working through minor manual inconsistencies, the CM28 is a capable and reliable system that performs as advertised.

After a bit of a learning curve, I do recommend these mics. I ordered these back in February 2024 and overall, I think they are pretty great quality. I find that I do need to reduce the dbs on the receiver to make sure that things don't sound too blown out. Additionally, I find that when I use a lav mic with these, the quality is terrible. I'm not sure what exactly is going on, but I have tried these mics with two brands of lav mics and everything is just super metallic sounding. I don't know if it is just an issue with the lav mics or just the connection the connection in these, but I recommend just clipping these on and using the windscreen. Overall, I do really like these microphones- especially for the price. They are durable, easy to use, and connect seamlessly. I love how easy it is to store and keep all pieces charged. I do wish you could keep the windscreen on while they are in the charging case because it would make it easier to keep all the pieces together.

Alright, so I picked up the Neewer CM31 because I needed something low-effort and solid for webcasting, short interviews, and the occasional rant on the go. Spoiler alert: it's better than I expected for something this low of a price. First off, the setup is dead simple. Plug and play. Didn't need a manual. The pairing is quick, and it works across all my devices: iPhone, iPad, Android backup, my laptop, even the camera rig. That alone makes it a clutch utility mic for someone who doesn’t want to juggle a dozen adapters or formats. The audio quality is crisp. The 48KHz and 24-bit spec definitely shows up. It's not studio condenser levels obviously, but for something wireless and portable? It's clean, it isolates voice well, and the noise canceling is just enough without making everything sound like it’s been scrubbed raw. The internal storage is a nice touch. Eight gigs onboard is overkill for most casual use but great for peace of mind. I used it once without realizing it wasn’t connected, and the backup saved my ass. Range-wise, it actually holds up. I haven’t tested the full 820 feet because I’m not shooting a war doc, but at 100-plus feet in a clear line of sight, there was zero dropout. Battery life is solid. Charges fast via USB-C, lasts long enough to get through a full shoot or a half-day of event coverage. No complaints there. If I had to nitpick, the interface and indicators could be a little more intuitive. Figuring out when it’s recording internally versus transmitting live took a second. But once you know, you know.

Really good quality and features for a wireless microphone kit at this price. The ability to record a backup file in the transmitter is a valuable feature and the size, flexibility, and convenience of the product is more than I could ask for. Highly recommend this wireless microphone kit.

Absolutely a game changer and honestly a great system once you find out how everything works! Its light and lasts a while and charges fast! Compact and elevates any project you are doing with high quality audio! It comes with usb c to usb c and ubs c to lighting adapter to connect to any usbc phone or older iphones! The battery lasts honestly forever and it charges really fast. Audio is very clear and clean once you fine tune settings on your camera or test your levels with the mic. It also comes with the audio jack cable to connect to your camera or device with a headphone jack. It comes with the little puff balls I call them to reduce noise for both mics. They are very compact and easy to use. The mics can be used one at a time if preferred, you don't have to use both mics to record something. The noise reduction works very well (it all comes down to fine tuning the settings and levels to your liking). Its honestly a slept on product and will change your videos and productions 100%. The case has slots to put the adapters inside and keep everything nicely in storage. Do note that when closing the case it has UV light that cleans the inside but it is the kind you should not look into since its the wavelength that can damage your eyes, it has a safety feature to prevent that but just in case DONT stare at the pretty light lol Its meant to kill bacteria and honestly its an awesome thing for it to have. You can keep the mics outside the case and turn off the mics and transmitter if you want to as well. The clips on them makes them easy to clip on almost anything. The mics have a magnet in case you want to hide the mics I guess? I never understood that, but you can stick them to stuff lol The magnets are pretty strong! The distance they transmit is actually really good! I will say if you are at lets say an expo MAYBE you will get some interference but that's just a common thing that's expected since a lot of wireless systems transmit at 2.4ghz so its possible. I personally never had a problem. You can connect the individual mics to a pc to get the files if you use internal recording, note that it will save them with them mic you used, it wont saved them on both, so if you used internal on mic1 the file will be on mic 1 only, and if you use mic 2 the files will be on mic2 not both, UNLESS of course you use both lol. Its pretty fast when transferring but could have been faster honestly but nothing major. You can pretty use these mics with anything that has a mic jack , like a pc, ive used it with so many devices with no problems at all. I would like to add that once you save your files, delete them from the device since I kinda forget and have alot on there..when you delete them they start at REC001 REC002 and so on, so make sure you put them in separate folders and rename them otherwise you may end up with mutiple RE001 named files haha Display is nice and bright and for people who cant see small print , maybe it could be an issue but it has enough brightness i think to help it be readable, but it is kind of small. Neewer CM28 RX is an excellent wireless mic system to elevate your production and videos!
