Excellent like some reviews state heat in hot water. It’s the best way to install no risk of melting or burning then dry before installing. Very satisfied with strength & toughness not some soft rubber mitt for looks actual protection

I just put it in a sink full of hot water to soften it up a little bit for about 2 minutes and then put it over the impact gun with ease! Nice and thick too this will protect it nicely! Well worth the few extra dollars to protect such a nice impact

Good impact protection.

Nice fit, but not very flexible. Tough to get on and as another person suggested, you can heat in a microwave to assist you in getting it on. I wish I would have remember how long I had set mine for, but it was a touch to long and it slightly started to melt it. Not really a big deal I guess as it still does what its supposed to. just more of me being a tool snob and liking my stuff to look a certain way. This does a nice job of protecting my impact while working as well as marring up the object your working on.
