Fiskars is such a dependable brand and I've used their crafting supplies for years. I was delighted to discover that they also make products for the garden. This scoop is well made and perfectly sized for transplanting my seedlings into 5 to 10 gallon planters. The sturdy handle keeps your hands from digging into the potting soil and the high edges prevent spillage. I highly recommend the school scoop as a great addition to your essential gardening kit!

It was a little bigger than I expected but it worked great. Now that I have I'm glad it's bigger and the design & quality are really good. It'll last forever.

Very nice scoop, strong construction and firm handle. The plastic is thick enough to support heavy digging in soil and holds a lot of material. I wouldn't use these for digging in clay but firm soil and sand they work good. I bought two for our trip to the beach, they dig really well and don't bend when the kids pry on them. After sitting in the hot Texas sun for several months they are still holding up.

As described, nice shape and durability. I like that there isn’t any metal in handle. Easily cleaned and large, good sized scoop. Adult sized, too big/heavy for kids.

I had hoped for a larger scoop, to use distributing mulch to perennial beds. This one is well made and seems sturdy, but most likely will be used for smaller jobs, like shifting potting soil to pots for new seedlings. I'll keep looking for the larger scoop I had in mind.

this was just want I needed. We have a lot of stray cats and for some reason they like to come into my yard and do their business. so, I needed something like this to scoop it up and put it in my yard waste container. I bought two of them. one for my garage side of the house and one for my back yard. it said it was plastic, so I thought maybe it would be flimsy, but it made out of a hard plastic, so it works great. I like the high sides too, which I wanted. Would buy again.

These products are excellent, especially when one lives on the salt water where corrosion is a problem.
