This was purchased for a (then) 3 year old. She is obsessed with rocks and has played with this for an entire year now. I love that it’s so functional that it allows you can keep rocks in the bottom— it keeps them from getting lost/making a mess all over the house. She has so much fun pretending to be a scientist with this and I love that she can actually look at a variety of things— not just rocks! So far has been a hit with kids from ages 3-6.

Fabulous for the curious minded kiddo!

Granddaughter was very excited to get this item. She's all about rocks! She was pleased with it, but when I tried it, I thought the magnification would have been stronger. The lens was not entirely clear either, kind of warbly around the outside edge of the entire lens.

Booth this for my nephew and he is obsessed with it! He’s used it with rocks, leaves, bugs, and all! You can really see up close!

My daughter loves it, but I’m giving it 3 stars because the strap broke almost immediately, you would think if it’s meant to carry some rocks in the bottom the strap would be tougher. Note it broke before we even put rocks in the bottom portion of it. But it’s a fun backyard toy.

Gifted to my kiddos for Christmas and they’re having fun inspecting all of their gems and things. I think it’ll be fun once summertime comes to use outside for things we find on walks. Great for using their brains and imaginations
