SimPure Small Water Pressure Tank for Tankless Reverse Osmosis System

Easy installation, made a big difference in my filtration system output. Compact and light, fits in tight under counter spaces. Highly recommend this product.

Nice compact pressure tank. I installed on my rv to soften the pump vibration and to provide some expansion for the hotwater tank.¹

My benchmark was the Aquasana Max Flow system advertising at 0.5 Gal per minute, but my kids complained "the water tasted buns," due to the San Antonio, TX hard water. I replaced with the outstanding SimPure T1-400UV Tankless RO system and the water is so good, my kids dropped from 3 artificially sweetened drinks (intolerant of the "buns" tasting water) to 0-1 per day. The only issue was the flow was noticeably/annoyingly slower. The specs on the T1-400UV say it is 0.27 Gal per minute, and mine measured a little faster at ~0.37 Gal per minute on a short fill. I added this tank and speed shot up to 1.1 Gal per minute. It takes up minimal space under the sink, but holds 1.4L in reserve to crank out at 1.1 Gal/min which covers all my water and sports bottle volumes. So if I was filling up more than 1.4L, it would drop back down to baseline flow, but anything under is true max flow. I don't have it hooked up to my ice or fridge, I just got it to increase flow. Of note, it would work with any water filter, not just SimPure, and just hold that higher-pressure 1.4L in reserve.

We installed an additional RO faucet in our bathroom, using about 35' of 1/4" tubing from our kitchen system. Because of the long run of tubing to the bathroom sink, the flow rate was painfully low, 10 seconds to fill just 8 ounces. We installed this SimPure tank under the sink and PERFECT! Great water flow to fill a glass, 3 seconds to fill the same 8 ounces, while loosing virtually no space under the sink.

This tank works exceptionally well. It doubled the flow on my tankless system (Waterdrop G3P600) and also resolved the hot-water flow issue. It’s compact enough to fit under the sink, which makes installation easy. While it may seem counterintuitive to pair a tank with a tankless system, it significantly improves convenience: the first few glasses are dispensed immediately, and the tank refills afterward while I’m not waiting.

We added an Ispring Tankless RO water system under our sink, but you need an additional pressure tank for the fridge/Ice maker connection. We chose this due the small size. It works great! Now we have great ice & water and an additional bonus is the increased water flow & immediate responsiveness at the tap. My husband did have to get some additional fittings/adaptors to make it work, but well worth it. Highly recommend.

Most other RO systems include a pressure tank so I was somewhat dismayed that this was a required additional purchase to feed my fridge. Not really a complaint against the item, which performs as expected and is quite compact compared to other brands, but a comment on the brand itself.

Perfect little tank for adding a 50gpd RO unit to our ice machine! It’s small and gets the job done.
