This is one of my best buys from Amazon! Absolutely beautiful Mahogany veneer that is extremly easy to use and stain. I needed to replaced the veneer fronts of two antique dresser drawers. The cost of having an antique repair shop do them was prohibitive, so after watching a few You Tube videos, I decided to see if I could do them myself and ordered the veneer from Amazon. I was thrilled to open the box and see the quality... the wood grain of the mahogany veneer is beautiful and it was very easy to apply. I do suggest watching a You Tube video, it helped. The drawers came out better than I could have imagined and they look exactly like (if not better than) the original veneer on the remaining two drawer fronts. Very easy to sand and stain.

I’ve ordered this Edge Supply walnut veneer sheet six times over the past two years, and it consistently meets my expectations for quality and ease of use. While natural wood grain can vary between sheets, the overall quality has always been reliable. The sheets are slightly oversized, ensuring a full 24"x96" workable area, which I find helpful for precise projects. The 3M peel-and-stick adhesive holds extremely well, but it’s essential to approach the application carefully as it’s not repositionable. My tips for smooth application: unbox and flatten the sheet under weight for a day or two, cut slightly larger than your target size, and consider a helper for larger pieces. I encountered a minor adhesive issue on one sheet where a small section lifted with the backer paper, but it was isolated and didn’t impact my project. However, this could be something to watch if every inch of material is needed. I’ve tried similar products from other suppliers, but Edge Supply’s veneer stands out for its quality. This veneer is ideal for furniture restoration and updates, and beginners can achieve excellent results by researching application techniques first. Overall, it’s a great, reliable choice.

Great product, easy to work with and much better than expected.

This stuff is great. Used it to renew the cabinetry in a campervan conversion. It's so thick that it hides any blemishes (like raised screwholes, etc.) in the surface it's adhered to. It took "dark walnut" colored Danish oil beautifully, and was finished with a coat of beeswax. I started with one roll and ended up ordering many more. My only grip is that the adhesive doesn't extend all the way down to the cut edge (which is exactly where it's needed the most). There is a centimeter or two strip along the edge without adhesive.

Excellent product. Came just as advertised. Others who say it didn’t adhere don’t know how to use the product. This stuff sticks perfectly. The wood veneer is beautiful.

Arrived discolored and with lots of defects in the grain. Unfortunately, we are in a time crunch so we have to use the sheet. We are going to print and cut around the defects and basically waste half the sheet so we can complete our job on time.

Works great and looks good

I was very disappointed when I opened the package up. The 3 strips that made up the full width of the roll were dramatically different in colour, with the centre strip being much lighter than the two outside strips. I had 3 sides of a floating mantle to veneer, and ended up wasting a lot of an overpriced roll to scrape together a finished product. If the timeline hadn’t been so tight to meet the clients deadline, I definitely would have returned. Another issue was a series of bark inclusions on one end of the roll. The quality was on par with something from a box box building store, but definitely not up to a standard for something priced over $120 CAD.
