CUT CONTENT
This localized version has removed content from the original at this time of purchase on release date. Specifically, it is missing the Molcar Soccer minigame as in my picture. You can look at videos online of the Southeast Asia version of the game, or Japanese, and see the omission. The area the Molcar Soccer minigame is present at upon buying all the buildings doesn't even have a vacancy sign like in overseas copies of the game. I suspect this is because this minigame had online features in a later update and they were lazy, but it was playable singleplayer against AI on release, so there is ultimately no excuse. You might think maybe I missed unlocking it, but you'll see 13 buildings available in a SEA/JP copy of the game on the start of a new game, and 12 here on the NA copy. Import a copy of the SEA version of the game, it has the same English, it is slightly more expensive to import ($10 more on Amazon at the time of writing), but it's a better product and worth supporting as a consumer. Don't support lazy localization! Also, this version had some weird stutters during the minigames and upon exiting the games and going back to the town it would freeze for a few seconds, this does not seem to be present in overseas copies of the game. If they patch the game to include the missing content, I'd naturally change my review. But given that this is a very niche game that honestly anyone could openly admit isn't going to be a very popular, flying off the shelves kind of product, I have my doubts this will happen. Oddly, most of the press releases regarding the NA release talk about the soccer minigame, but they seem to just be copying from press from the overseas copy of the game. Nighthawk Interactive also has nothing about the game on their website, though they did issue a press release (presumably copy/pasted from Bandai Namco) that directly mentions this missing minigame as a feature. Their official YouTube also doesn't show it, but just shows 1 of the included minigames. Either way, I understand this review is excessive in its content, but I wanted to make sure I was doing my due diligence and simply didn't miss the content somehow. I was very excited for Molcar Soccer with my friends and it was a major factor in my purchase, so, at this time, I have to return the product and simply buy a SEA copy and support them instead. Hopefully this review helps, or inspires other fans of the franchise to do the same and opt not to support lazy and cheap cash grab localizations that are lacking transparency.

These little creatures are adorable. I love them so much! Teddy is my favorite. This is a simple game you can finish in a day or two, if you tried. I hope they make more Molcar games!
