is it heat proof - cant believe it doesnt say this ?

Yes this is heat proof, i have used them on a gas hob to boil liquids

These are heat resistant and can be used with a bunsen burner. Proper safety equipment is recommended especially when heating a glass beaker for the first time.

Are the markings etched on ?. Or just printed on. As it is not stated probably not as not a selling point. I have yet to see markings that do not come off over time.

This item is printed using ACL or Applied Ceramic Labeling. The ink is essentially porcelain stone that is baked on at very high temperature for several hours. This stone is melted into the surface of the glass. It is very resistant to removal and even if scraped intentionally with a blade it cannot be removed. Extended repeated use may dull the top surface but ACL printing is considered a permanent method of printing.

Precise, practical measuring

I bougt these for kitchen use. They are somewhat heat tolerant, easy to wash up. When not in use, they can be nested into the other to decrease the space required for storing them. It also arrived well-before the estimated shipment delivery of early January.
