Listen..the girls that get it get it. I bought this because I'm a fruity floral LOVER, I saw it was at a really cheap price, beautiful bottle, and the notes were up my alley, so I thought why not try? I read the bad reviews AFTER I ordered it and it made me worried, I almost cancelled my order. I am so glad I didn't. When I opened it up I sprayed it and it was soo strong, I got really worried that I wasted some money on it. I sprayed it out about 10 times and let it sit on my vanity for a few days hoping it would change a little bit. I'm telling you I thought about this perfume the entire time I waited to spray it again, I kept going back and smelling the perfume from the cap. It was almost addictive lol The next time I sprayed it, I was in love. It smells a bit like a tart and sweet rose wine. The rose is heavy in this, but so are those sour fruits. (In a good way in my opinion!!) I sprayed it on my heat points and it's beautiful from opening to dry down. It settles beautifully into my skin chemistry, it becomes a sweet feminine scent perfectly wearable for everyday in the spring and summer. Maybe even early fall. It projects so nicely without choking out a room. This is one of those perfumes I'm constantly smelling myself or when I move I get a beautiful scent and I'm like what smells sooo good, oh it's ME! 🩷 this scent really makes me feel like a princess living my best life.

I love this perfume. I get compliments on it all the time. It’s soft fruity and floral. I always apply directly to skin and clothes and on skin the smell lasts about 6 hours but on my b clothes it’s there until wash. I am so glad I decided to take a chance on this.

Lattafa Asdaaf Ameerat Al Arab Prive Rose — 3.4 oz ($17.74) I bought this expecting it to smell like rose because of the name, but honestly it doesn’t smell like rose to me. First spray is strong and a little sharp/alcoholy. After it settles it turns into powdery + sweet vanilla + white musk + skittles. It doesn’t smell cheap — the bottle looks nice, pretty, feels like velvet and the scent smells more expensive than $17 — but I don’t smell the rose I was expecting (to complete my all rose layering collection). It also leans powdery, sweet, vanilla-ish. It’s not full baby powder/diaper smell (thankfully, because I don’t want to smell like that), but there’s definitely a powdery vibe. Lasts a long time, even longer on clothes. Overall — I’m still not sure if I’ll wear it every day as perfume, but for $17 it’s also fine to use as a room spray or linen spray. If you want a true rose scent, skip it. If you like sweet vanilla/musk and don’t mind a little powder, it’s nice and it works. 4/5 — not what I expected for its name but not bad for the price. I do like it though. Will keep.😃

Smells really Goood

Got this just the other day, and could smell it from the box because a little had seeped out of the cap and wet the velvet coating on the bottle. The scent was intoxicating. I've never had a perfume pull me in so much to smell it as much as this one. I think smelling it, it should be for a child...sweet strawberry milkshake...but it's much more complex than that, and I love it (and I'm old.) The bottle sat out near me for a day or so, and I just couldn't stop sniffing it. I was afraid the initial attraction to it would go away, or the scent would change, but no, it never did. It surprised me everytime I sniffed it. I think it's ready to go right out of the box...no need to let it sit for months before it's wearable. The sillage is strong, and the staying power is long. Again, on first wear, I just couldn't stop smelling my wrist. I was just amazed at, and trying to decode, the notes I was picking up. Still strawberry, and some hidden rose. Milk, lots of milk. In the end, there were those base notes that Middle Eastern perfumes do so well...lightly musky and vanillic. Yum. I read a couple reviews that said this smelled like baby powder. I don't get baby powder as much as I do milk (tonka bean and amber?) and a combo of the floral and fruity notes. Fresh, a little sweet, completely enchanting, completely addicting.

This was a bad blind buy for me…The scent doesn’t match the description at all! I know stuff like this is mostly subjective but still… It’s extremely powdery. Far too powdery for my taste. It gets 3 stars for longevity but that’s it. I was hoping for something like a sweet soapy rose but I don’t smell even a hint of rose or any of the other stuff listed in the description. Although I admit whenever I read “sweet” I think of candy but like skittles type candy - not vanilla or caramel which seems to be the reality when it comes to perfumes. That’s my bad. This reminds me of a less fruity and more powdery version of Britney Spears fantasy (pink rhinestone bottle). Fantasy smells so much better than this one though, so I’d rec that one instead (Fantasy is more expensive cause you get less but $13 isnt a lot just to try it). These perfumes both have decent longevity btw. I just find fantasy less offensive if I’m being honest (this laffeta one smells really momish to me for some reason too). Also the packaging is cheap and ridiculous! Like they’re trying WAY too hard to make this seem like a premium purchase when we all know it’s just a cheap perfume! The bottle arrives in a velvet box wrapped and sealed in plastic but the bottle (also covered in cheap pink velvet) had scrapes and the labels were peeling off (probably on account of being stuck to weird fake velvet fabric).

I typically don’t like a rose note, but I bought this for my 18 year old daughter and tried it out a couple times. There is a sweet tartness, reminiscent of sweet tart candies, on initial spray. This cools the rose note down and keeps it youthful and zesty. The rose is a very freshly picked dewy rose, keeping it from smelling musty and dated. Then the powder note blankets the sweet tart and rose, making it soft and airy. It’s quite simple and very nice. The rose note is there throughout the wear, so you do need to appreciate a young rose note. In all fairness I only worn it twice but got about 5 hour wear on skin. It was a skin scent for a bit longer. This is a good spring/summer scent, and even into fall I feel it’s appropriate. Might get lost in the winter air though. Solid beginner rose perfume with just enough fruitiness to balance it out.
