These puppy pads are the best we've tried in 9 years. With two special needs chihuahuas that aren't always able to go outside, we use plenty of puppy pads. I can't even count how many different brands we've tried over the years, but always found ourselves looking for something a little bit better. I bought the 50 pack to test them and just reordered the 100 pack because they are so much better than our other pads. Bulldoglogy black carbon puppy pads seem to be better than the others, offering more features and durability. Many other brands have such a thin backing that the pee can permeate the liner and ruin the floor. We haven't noticed any leakage of this type with the new pads. They are also very absorbent and hold more. The addition of carbon really seems to help. I usually smell pee as soon as they go, but it's much fainter on these pads. Although I still change the pads often, I feel like I don't have to worry if I'm away and they have to use the same pad multiple times. Then I roll them up and put them in a diaper genie. The description mentions a puppy attractant, but I can't comment on the effectiveness. My dogs are trained well and always go to the bathroom to their own spot and the pad is always waiting for them, and it doesn't matter which brand/type of pad we use. The pads have adhesive corners that apply quickly and keep the dogs from kicking them up or under. They really do stick, though, and can take a bit of a tug to get them loose. So I bought a silicone tray, which is something I probably should have bought long ago. The adhesive barely sticks to the silicone, unlike the hard tile floor, but offers just enough stick to keep the pad in place. It reminds me of a post-it note in strength when used on silicone, vs packing tape on hard tile. They also remove quickly from the silicone. I would easily recommend these pads to my own family and friends.

These diapers are amazing. I help babysit my friends dogs so occasionally we have up to 3 dogs hanging out for a few hours. The amount of pads we have to change on top of going out varies but it can be a lot. These pads have amazing absorption amounts. I think they're totally worth it for the price. They have little adhesives on the back which allows them to stick to surfaces but I feel like they could be a bit stickier since they do get pulled up easily when the puppers run about. I prefer the black pads personally but I don't think it makes too much of a difference which you get if you pay attention to usage. They feel thinner than other pads I've used but somehow hold more so I appreciate how they're performing under the circumstances. They are a bit smaller than my dog pad holder but that's okay with us. The dogs got a chance to choose which they liked and 2 preferred the black, 1 liked the white (to sleep on). Id def get more as I run low on these.

These puppy pads are super absorbent and hold up really well no leaks or mess. There’s barely any odor after use, which is a big plus. My puppy does tend to tear a hole through the center sometimes, but even then, nothing leaks out or escapes. Great quality and still highly effective. Definitely recommend!

After many tries of other charcoal pee pads these are the absolute winner. I was so excited to see XXL size in the charcoal. I’ve been using the large sized charcoal pads by Bulldogology, but had to put 2 down for my little 6 pound Yorkie who gets to roam freely while I am at work. These pee pads are super absorbent and the charcoal actually helps neutralize the smell of urine. Yes, they seem thin but there is some kind of magic happening in the pads as I have never had an issue with leaking, ever. For the quality of these pee pads I don’t think the price is expensive when I only need to use one a day for my Annabelle. Other pads I have tried in the past that were the same thickness had to be replaced every time Annabelle used one because of the smell. These totally knock that smell out. I highly recommend these pee pads. Bulldogology has a customer for life. 🐶

I just received two new very small breed puppies and needed some pads to aid in their house training. Although I’ve had many puppies and dogs in my life, it’s been 14 years since my last puppy, and I had never used pads. The breeder informed me these two were trained to go on newspaper already. I have a doggie door, but until they are big enough to go through that on their own, I want pads in case there isn’t someone to take them outside. Anyway, I did my research and these sounded like really good ones. The other brand I considered, you could get an optional special tray holder for the pad, which sounded good, but I went with these specifically because of the adhesive corners on the pads. I have tile and wood, so I figured I could just adhere the pads directly to my hard floors. Well, as I write this, the puppies are playing with one of the pads! Lol. Those so-called adhesive corners are a joke. The area of the adhesive is so small and barely sticky at all. Since I have all these now, I plan on using my own 2-sided tape to secure them to the floor. The breeder had sent a few white pads to us in our care package and I used those. I don’t know the brand at all. So that is my only comparison. Both seemed to absorb well with no leaking. Mind you, these are 10 week old toy breed puppies who weigh maybe 4 pounds, so when they pee, it is very little. So I don’t know how they would stand up to bigger dogs and puppies. My only other criticism is that since these are dark grey in color, I cannot tell as easily when someone has urinated on them vs the ones gifted to us. I had one in their pretty large pen where we keep them at night. I looked every day, but I saw nothing. The pen is by my bed, and today when I was laying there I could definitely smell urine, but I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from, because I checked their bedding, etc. I decided to check the pad even though it looked brand new. And there it was! Poor babies had been using it, but I didn’t know!!! Maybe because they produce such a small amount it doesn’t show up as much or whatever. So I do not like that one bit. It would be great if, at the very least, the fabric would turn black or, better yet, a bright color when urinated on. Having said all that, I do think they are good pads, but are they worth the extra bucks for this brand and the charcoal and adhesive, especially when you can tape the corners, or more, down your own self and do a better job of it to boot? Nah. I will not be repurchasing these.

Favorite type of product and saves money

I have been using the carbon pee pads for about a year now with great success. I started with the non carbon one and those made my garbage stink horribly. Every time I would open the garbage it smelled of strong urine. Very gross. In switching to the carbon ones, the stench is substantially less. Still there but definitely less. I keep a magic air air freshener by the garbage and that has helped significantly. I find these pee pads to be extremely absorbent and durable. I never had any leaks or spills. Even the edges are absorbent.. My dog likes to drink a lot of water and I have come home after work with the pee pad soaked and heavy with urine and did not have any leaks. I don’t need to use the taped corners to fasten the pee pad to the floor. I have an 8 yr Yorkie that weighs 9 lbs. she uses it to do her business and doesn't fuss or play around on her pee pad. I did test the taped corners and they do secure nicely. I have a plastic runner under the pee pad to protect my floors (my dog sometimes colors outside the lines). The pee pad adhered well to that. In fact, one of the corners stuck to the floor (plastic). It was easily scrubned off with a wet sponge. Again, I have a small dog so not sure how this would stand up to a larger dog or puppy. While these pee pads appear to be a fairly adequate size for a 9 lb yorkie, I have had to double up and place them side by side to provide her with more area to do her business. I was getting these on subscribe and save, but noticed that is not being offered anymore. At least it doesn’t appear to be. To which I need to contact Amazon about this.

The product is not the same as the pictures. It’s blue on one side and also no brand packaging. Came in plastic packet.

Easy to use adhesive. Pads are super absorbent, pee is invisible and no odour. Love them.
