Much better than melatonin. I've told people, this might be the single best thing I've ever purchased on Amazon. My issue with sleep, is that I rarely get tired. I go to bed because its time, not because I'm sleepy. I take 1 about 2hrs or so before I intend to go to bed and it does the trick. The last couple of nights I've taken 2 before bed and it really knocks me out. I am a little more drowsy in the am, but doesn't take long to snap out of it.
