Easy to follow instructions
This was purchased as a birthday gift for a very excited boy who loved using it in school. It is pricey but provides hours of fun for a kid who is just started out in steam or coding. It’s easy to use and instructions are easy to follow.

Great for all ages!
The kit is very handy with a charging station for all of the bots. I used it with 4K students (just using a black line) through 3rd grade (color patterns) and all of the students had fun using them!

Neat little Robot
I’ve had this for a few weeks in my robotics class and I just wanted to thoroughly test it before reviewing it. I love how easy it is to use. It took me seconds to set it up. I got the app on the iPad and it didn’t take very long to charge it. No wifi/ Bluetooth connection is needed. Calibrating it is very easy. You just turn it on and hold it for a few seconds until it flashes and then you set it on the iPad in the circle and a calibrates within seconds. I love that there are lots of games for my students to play in the app. And it typically will last at least 3 hours without being charged. (that is constant play) I have two struggles with it though, I really want my students to code it and I am struggling to find the right app to do that. I didn’t realize when I bought it that there’s a difference between a bit and an Evo. The app that is coding looks like it’s for Evo. I will update my review if I figure out how to make it code. It’s also nice that you can use it without technology, there are several mats that you can use that it comes with and you can also build your own with markers. You can also decorate it, but my sixth and seventh graders were not interested in decorating it. I do think that would be cool for a younger kid though. I am noticing that my sixth and seventh graders are starting to grow board with it which surprises me a little. I feel like if I can find the coding app I might be able to get some of my higher achievers. As it stands right now my good programmers will play with it for one class and have fun just playing but they’re looking for something a little more challenging. I think that this would also be great to take to a restaurant, or a place where you know that your child is going to have to sit for a while. I can see a very young child being able to use it because it is so simple, but it does get a little more challenging as you choose the different games on the iPad. Because it is so small and portable and you can charge it off of your phone it would keep a child busy for a while. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars was the fact that I’m struggling to find the coding part of it.

My daughter loves it!
As a parent, I am always seeking engaging and educational activities for my children. Ozobot is a small, programmable robot that interacts with specially designed color codes on a surface. By drawing different patterns and sequences, my daughter can control Ozobot's movements, teach it logic, and solve puzzles. This hands-on approach makes learning fun and easy. Ozobot empowers children to learn the basics of coding without overwhelming them. The color codes represent different instructions, allowing my daughter to experiment with different commands and create complex routines. Most importantly, my 10-year-old loves playing with Ozobot. It's a perfect blend of education and entertainment that keeps him engaged for hours on end. I highly recommend this educational toy to any parent seeking to foster their child's interest in STEM.

Defective product- Horrible customer service
The robot they sent never worked. It wouldn’t power on. I have a Girls Who Code club and the club sent us money to purchase this. When it came defective, my students were so disappointed. I wanted a replacement but the seller wouldn’t offer one. I sent the robot back for a refund and they charged a HUGE restocking fee which made it impossible to purchase a replacement. When I asked them about the restocking fee they said I sent back a used product and when they showed me pictures I realized that the wrong markers were in the case. I understand what they are saying. However, the markers are worth a tiny fraction of the amount I paid. They sent me a defective robot and refused to make it right, and the worst thing is that it’s the little girls who will be the most affected
