(2024 Upgrade) VINGLI Pool Vacuum Cleaner Automatic Sweeper Swimming Pool Creepy Vacuum (Grey)

All pool cleaners can get stuck in a corner of the pool by steps or tight corners. Installing a "pool hose rotator" will help solve this problem. Also, use the "45 degree" white connector when connecting the hose to the unit to improve "corner performance". Also, if your pool cleaner port on your pool is not located in the center of your pool, consider installing a 45 degree PVC fitting onto your port first to allow the cleaner hose to point more towards the center of the pool. I found this to work very well in my pool where the pool cleaner inlet port is not in the center of the pool. Also, you can get more hours of use out of your yellow diaphragm by adjusting the tension on the diaphragm. When the cleaner stops working after many hours of operation (the diaphragm rubber relaxes and the opening becomes too large) adjust the opening by loosening the yellow retaining ring, slide the clear tube to adjust the diaphragm opening (tension) to about a 1/16 of an inch, reassemble and check the operation of the cleaner. Good company to work with. They have made improvements on this new model and are very responsive to issues you have with the unit. UPDATE 05/05/2025 I have used this cleaner for over a year. I run my unit year round, even in the winter, to keep the pool clean. The unit is still working great, but it was getting caught on my pool drain, so I replaced the yellow "foot" pad and now it is working great. Also, as noted in my first review, you can modify your hose configurations to help the cleaner not get stuck in the corners. I am now using a "pool hose rotator" to prevent this problem. They can be purchased here on Amazon for $67.

First off - I had a cleaner similar to this for a round above ground pool and LOVED it. I rarely ever had to brush the pool for YEARS - the cleaner just did a superb job. My review is based solely on this experience and my pool. Enter the new inground vinyl pool that originally came with a Polaris 280 - not a bad cleaner - for a few years. Well, the Polaris finally started to remain only in the deep end spinning in circles and a rebuild kit did not improve the issue. So I started looking for something I had previous experience with. The VINGLI Pool Vacuum Cleaner is almost identical to the above ground cleaner I had. It was very easy to assemble and that's were easy stopped. The device adapter you have to insert into your skimmer was incredibly hard to get to stay in place due to how stiff the adapter plastic was. Once I did get it inserted and able to stay, turned on the pump and saw the action starting. There are adjustments you make with the weights on the hose to ensure the cleaner is in the correct position on the pool surface. Once set, the cleaner should do its job. That lasted all of about 5 minutes until I noticed it was no longer "surging" with the cleaning action. Backwash / rinse the filter, turn pump back on, the cleaner resumes the quick action of cleaning.... until it meet the first step in the shallow end. My pool is a perfect rectangle with a step across the entire 18' width of the pool. The cleaner will not free itself - it will remain in the stuck location until discovered. I freed it up and in less than 2 minutes, now it was stuck on my wall ladder in the deep end. Free it up, the cleaner goes back to the shallow end and stuck on the step again. I don't babysit my pool - I need the cleaner to do the job without my involvement. Needless to say, these are not the types of cleaners I need for the pool design I have. The return was processed normal and I give 5 stars to the company for quick shipping and easy return. After extensive research and reading reviews, I now have a Polaris VRXiq robotic cleaner costing a small fortune that is doing an incredible job - so far. In just over 2 hours on the first cleaning cycle, the floor, walls, and water line got attention. The steps were no problem for the robot - it never gets stuck but frees itself with any obstruction.

This is a review of the first 24-hours of operation of the 2024 version of the Vingli pool vacuum. I have owned multiple of the Vingli pool vacuums (original version)-- perhaps 3 or 4. What I found with the original version was that they last about 1 year before they self destruct. The support structure of the original version usually breaks somewhere and eventually causes the unit to stop working after about 1 year of operation. Since the units have a 1-year warranty I was able to get one unit replaced. The design on the 2024 version appears to eliminate the support structure that has been the cause of the breakage in the past on the original units. My expectation- this new version should last longer (not verified yet). I disconnected the older version vacuum head from the hose and installed the 2024 version vacuum head. It operated perfectly-- and has continued for the past 24 hours (cycled on/off a couple times). So far I'm pleased with the 2024 version-- time will tell how well it holds up. UPDATE: After a couple day, our opinion is: this unit is superior to the earlier version. It does not get hung up on the steps and corners, it operates just like the older version otherwise. We are anticipating that it will last more than 1-year (our prior experience with the older version). It certainly is work the price. UPDATE AGAIN: I have not changed my opinion. This unit is an improvement over the old model and works great. Highly recommend it. UPDATE AGAIN: this unit broke after 5 months of use. I contacted VINGLI customer service and had new / replacement unit within 6 days. Great customer service.

This pool vaccum works well, For build in's!!! It vibrates the hose to shake & sucks up the debris on the bottom of pool & it actually does the walls too! Since, We gaved Up on the rolling robot ones Cuz, after 1yr hits, They quit working... I had gone though 2# robot ones on wheels! & When it comes to a yr! They completely stopped working... So this one is kicking it out well. SO Glad We gave it a try. As I'm handicap & is very easy to put hoses together & attach to filter system. Thank you bunches

Didn't work well with my pump setup. But, I can see that it could be great for someone else

This item only works for a couple/few months then the cheap parts break. The parts can not handle the constant shaking caused by the suction action of the cleaner. I tried to address the issue with the seller but they would not send a replacement part and told me to contact Amazon. Amazon would not offer a return since it was past the 30 day return window. Save yourself the money and purchase the more expensive Barracuda pool cleaner. They are made to last. I tried to save money and wasted more in the end. I will be purchasing the Barracuda now.

Best pool vacuum ever bought. Had two other brands that fall apart and useless after 2 years. Been using it for over a year and have not had to replace the diaphragm yet and came with extra if needed, and still looks and works like new. Great price and value.

I didnt like this item. Didn't wirk for me. Got stuck, stopped vacumming, just not a good product for me.

Probably not suitable for most pools here in UAE as it doesn't do corners very well. As long as there's no steps at the bottom of the pool it will do very well at cleaning the bottom ONLY without being stuck. No chance for wall cleaning but there's no need for it.
