You can find cheap ones, but this one was like getting a brand new razor. It’s OEM so it fit perfectly and restore it is providing nice close shaves. If your razor is missing whiskers and it’s taking a long time to shave, pull the trigger on this new head. The new sharp blades with restore your fast close shaves. It’s worth the price and I won’t wait so long to replace it again. I hope it lasts a long time.

The older head, 53B, is still available on Amazon. It costs less and lasts longer than the 64B in a Series 6 shaver. The 64B shaves closer, but is about $9 more expensive and does not last as long. (Forget the 18 months life for either. Six months to a year has been my experience with these authentic Braun heads). In my opinion, the 64Bs better quality day-to-day shave makes it worth the extra price and shorter life.
