excellent value for money fits my fan great and brilliant quality

I got the filter replace icon on my Dyson Pure Cool TP00, so checked out their website for a replacement filter; £70... Given you can basically buy a new fan for that, I was very reluctant - so looked on Amazon to see if there were any "off brand" versions, and found this one. At the time of purchase, at £15 it was a FAR more reasonable price, and worth taking a chance on in case it didnt work as well, so I went for it! When it came to fitting, yep, it fits perfectly - no sizing issues or technical lockout at all. The only visible difference between the two, aside from the colour of the plastic parts (and of course the filth on the old filter!) is that the Dyson filter has a sort of mesh wrapped around it that this one does not. Have to say, it doesnt seem to have any detrimental effect not having it, so thats interesting! Once in, and the fan turned back on, the replacement icon was still there: I did a bit of a google, and it turns out the Dyson filter has some sort of 'tag' on it that communicates with the fan to turn that off. To turn it off when using an unofficial filter, you simply hold the power button down for 10 seconds, and it resets it. Couldnt be more simple! Its now been running for a month, and I can definitely say Ive noticed an improvement in the air quality - so it certainly works! I'll re-assess at at 3 month intervals to see if the performance is matched (the Dyson filters claim to need replacing once a year) - I suppose of course it may be that this is less effective long term... but for now, with a matched performance at less than a third of the price? Im certainly happy!

Use this for my Dyson Air Vent, much cheaper than the Dyson one. Doesn’t harm your machine but it will still flash that filter needs changing.

Easy to fit, looks different to a Dyson original (which was out of stock) and is considerably cheaper. Dyson machine doesn't recognise that a new filter has been fitted so the change filter error notice is still lit on the fan display

Fits like the original, seems to be as efficient. 1/3rd of the price of the original! I use a Dyson filter fan as I suffer from hayfever and it keeps the room clean of pollutants. This is working as well as the original Dyson part so no complaints.

Having spent weeks trying to get a new filter from Dyson they eventually sent me the wrong filter, I am still waiting for the right one and they are hanging on to my £69 and insist that they will send the correct one. I found the SparetoGo filter on Amazon for £16. It is great and does the job with luck I might get my one from Dyson by the time it needs replacing again.

Fitted easily, just had to reset the filter status (which you have to do with Dyson anyway). The reason I have a bladeless fan with filter is that I'm asthmatic and fans blowing around dust are pretty nasty Dyson don't seem to supply filters any longer (their support for older models is rubbish). I was concerned that the fan would not recognise this one, but I didn't even have to reset on the fan, just on the app. Top marks for this one.

After seeing the price Dyson were asking I found these filters for my Pure Cool. I purchased 2 so I have one ready for next year. Excellent value for money and it fits perfectly in the machine. Would definitely recommend.
