Good Vac, Find filters by looking for them under other brands of vacuum made in the same factory.
Works fine and seems to be well built. Wanted a small shop vac that went with the battery system that I had and this works. By no means is it as powerful as a larger corded shop vac but it works and it gets by on almost no electricity relative to a standard shop vac. With an 8Ah battery it runs for quite a while. As far as purchasing filters, internally this is identical to the "Flex 24V 1.6 gallon wet/dry vacuum" and the identically made filters branded for the Flex vacuum are much easier to find and at cheaper prices (at least in the US) and both (HEPA and dust bag) are currently available on Amazon (currently ASINs B0CY3GHHN5 and B0CY3HC1D8). My biggest complaint is that the tool rack for this is just a bolt on afterthought (literally). Everything else on this thing is extremely sturdy and will likely outlast me (or more realistically the lifetime of this battery system). It has a large solid handle and the accessories, while small, are very well built. But the bolt on tool rack probably won't survive if the thing is bouncing around in a truck. But I've also never seen a good solution for tools on a shop vac so I'm not going to ding them too hard for this.

It sucks and blows!
This little vacuum really sucks for its size. It’s not bad to carry around and use to clean up household “to-do” projects. I have even used it in the garage to clean up my work area. It’s also not bad to plug in the hose to the “exhaust” to blow leaves off the side walk.

Nice vacuum!
Great cordless small vacuum. It has a two speed vacuum selection which worked really well for vacuuming out the truck. It also has locations for accessories so you don't have to keep track of loose tools. Having it use the same 18v batteries that all my Hitachi and Metabo power tools use is a big plus. It has more suction then I expected from a battery operated vacuum. I do recommend this Metabo cordless vacuum.

convenient, but poorly designed
its a good vacuum, convenient, but stuff that gets sucked into the hose tends to fall back out when the tool is turned off, so it trails dirt and dust wherever you bring it which is very obnoxious. the hoses also dont connect to eachother very well and like to fall off during use. good buy on sale but kind of annoying to use frequently

Decent vac
Nicely built. Suction's OK There's a reducer coupling that comes with the vac. It's not intuitively obvious what it's for (at least to me it wasn't). The instructions don't mention it, but if you look closely at one of the pictures you can see that it fits onto the end of the flexible hose and provides a tight fitting for the extension tubes. Without that coupling the tube won't stay connected to the hose. I bought FT522 bags on Amazon and they fit

Good suction but power-hungry.
Works good with ample suction. My existing Metabo/Hitachi 18 volt and Multi-volt batteries fit and function properly. I don't foresee using the extension tubes very much, but nice to have for rare occasions when extra reach is needed. One star deducted for battery life. Get hi-capacity batteries if planning to use this on a regular basis. A 2.0ah battery will only yield about 10 minutes of continuous run time.

Convenient battery operated portable vacuum!
Finally used this for the first time. Mad cleaning the floor of my van much less of a hassle. Love that this is part of the Metabo tool system. I like their designs and reliability.

Great value for a small portable non-corded vacuum
I have a lot of Metabo tools I needed something for small tasks and also a cordless for my vehicle I think this works very well for my situation

Great little vacuum, better performance than I expected, I've used it in dry (mostly sawdust) and wet situations and it's worked well for both. It has an auto shutoff when the water level hits a certain point, which does work, but I'm not sure I'd trust it so pay attention to how much water has been picked up. Love having a small easy to carry vacuum that uses the same batteries as all my tools. I was leery having read all the reviews, but a) easily found replacement bags (a bit pricey but available). b) has plenty of power for small tasks (if your doing something that needs more power, use a full size shop vac.) c) short battery life? not in my opinion, seems to run quite a while even on smaller batteries. d) clogging? I've had no clogs, but it may depend on what your picking up. e) non standard size, weirdly the attachments from the small A/C vac I'd used for decades fit so no issue for me, I do have a couple attachments that are a different size, but had long ago solved that issue with some tape for the old vac.

I have lots of cordless tool brands, and a vac for almost everyone. This one works very well, maybe the Milwaukee box/case looking M18 works a tiny bit better. The M18 is awesome and anyone that use it is impressed it is battery operated. This is pretty close. I have 2 by Flex, which look very similar to this one, but just OK power or suction. I have a couple of Makita's, A Metabo (German, not HPT), Ryobi and they all fall into the OK rating. This Metabo is definitely a cut above, these others and you won't be disappointed. Also well built, nice steel tube extensions.

I bought this cordless Metabo HPT 18v vacuum cleaner 5 months ago and it has extremely high powerful suction like you wouldn’t believe!! I’ve used it to vacuum my dad’s car and truck and it looks absolutely very well vacuumed which it did a fantastic job!!! It is just as powerful as a big shop vac!! I strongly recommend putting in a large 18v 8.0ah battery inside it otherwise it won’t last long on runtime!! I absolutely love it!! It’s the bestest cordless vacuum cleaner ever!!! I strongly recommend putting recommend it to anyone!!!
