HITHOS 69" Tall Bookshelf, White Gold 4-Tier Bookcase with Wooden Drawers and Ladder Shelves, Free Standing Storage Cabinet Kitchen Bakers Rack with Microwave Oven Stand for Home Office

I bought the HITHOS 69" Tall Bookshelf, White Gold 4-Tier Bookcase with Wooden Drawers and Ladder Shelves to enhance the look of my kitchen. I am a renter so I can’t do too much in terms of renovations so I am relegated to upgrading my style from rags to riches :) with removable items. The bookshelf is heavy as (you know what) all packaged together; I had to bring it upstairs piece by piece. From my vantage point the bookshelf is quality, durable, and sturdy. The shelves are thick and hold a decent amount of weight as described. It took me approximately 5 hours to assemble the unit but I did it by myself. I encountered a few issues as I was getting tired but the instructions are clear easy to understand. I pulled out my power drill for some parts like the tracks on the drawers (you see my Amazon slippers in the picture). When I got frustrated, I calmed myself down and kept going until I finished. As you will see, I put one of the drawers on upside down (I fixed it the next day). For some parts, I wish it would have come pre-assembled like the tracks on the drawers. Also, the bottom of the drawers aren’t solid. I wish it was thick as I feel like it will wear down overtime. I love the style of the bookshelf which is interchangeable as I used it for the kitchen. The color is spot on with the accents of the gold. The outside of the screws show which was a problem at first but now I don’t even see it. I highly recommend this product, it enhanced the look just as I desired. I still love it each day I see it in my kitchen. I have to thank Mary J. I absolutely love it beautiful strong and easy to put together. I really like the structure of the piece. It’s definitely a great piece for the house and a great focal point I love the depth and size of the drawers and the simplicity of putting it together I will say to use a drill because if not it will hurt your hands but ultimately easy to put together I did it all my self in around 2 hours maybe less. So easy if you have common sense and know how to read the instructions.

I have been shopping for something like this for the last month. Actually thought about buying an old narrow hutch/buffet, painting it, and remove the back so that I could put this in front of a window for my plants and decor. To find this, with the exact window dimensions, was a surprise! We live in 900 square feet, so everything has to be well thought out. This area is our tiny dining room which has been converted into my Home Office. I have a floating desk attached to the wall, with an adjustable stool that fits under it, and a printer stand. We are converting everything to Mid-Century Modern from French Country, it's been a journey! This stand ticked all the boxes for us. We have lots of experience with building flat-box furniture and kitchen cabinetry. The instructions were well done, complete, and all parts accounted for. I lined up all the pieces in numerical order, cut the top off the lettered hardware pouch, but kept hardware within the pouch. Being prepared is everything. This build went smoothly, as I tell hubby which numbers/letters for each step, and help him orient it properly. Once we were done with the lower box and frame attachment, I finished the drawers and cabinet by myself the next day, as cabinetry is my specialty. Everything was drilled to perfection. The cabinet hinges are high quality, and allow you to center that door exactly. The drawers can be done that way as well, if you use the elongated holes and predrill. I did not, and used what the instructions show, as the reveal on the drawer fronts are not critical for my eye, but the cabinet door is! The drawer slides are great, and stop before pulling out, and the drawers do not fall forward or down. Be sure to orient your slides correctly during install, I've attached photos. Remember that CL and CR are for the Cabinet, Left and Right, and DL and DR are for the Drawers, Left and Right. The color is more "greige" than gray, and that's okay too. I will end up covering the cabinet and drawer fronts with a darker contact paper. I also have all new pots for my plants to finish this project, and will post that when done. In conclusion, this is high quality for this price point, very versatile for a myriad of uses, easy to construct, and we highly recommend it.

Very easy to follow directions, everything's labeled very well. Took a few hours, but once it was complete and in position, it looks very nice, just like the photos showed. The drawers are nice and ample in size. The height is perfect. I do recommend anchoring to the wall either with the provided anchors or your own, but it doesn't wobble or seem like it would fall on its own.

Very beautiful shelving unit. I use this as my coffee bar. The coffee pot sits perfectly inside it. I did add a electrical outlet installed it myself just so I could have the outlet on top. You could add lights to it if you want and decorate for the holiday. It comes in one piece flat so you'll just be able to put it together. It took us probably about an hour to put it all together. It is labeled very well with ABC and so on. It comes either in the gray or the brown or the white and we chose the gray. It looks really nice in our home. Metal is real nice and the shelving

Very practical and functional. The piece of furniture has plenty of space to organize and store everything in order. It's sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks beautiful anywhere. I love it because, in addition to being useful, it has a simple design that blends with the decor. I highly recommend it!

It does take a long time to put together but the instructions were easy. Like others said, it was a heavy box and I brought it in my house in pieces. I really love it, fits in my space perfectly super sturdy. I definitely recommend it.

Looks great and was fairly easy to assemble.
